Such a cool story, he's an inadvertant "ambassador" of his species, leading to discussion& educational experience for his human neighbors, letting them see into his species world & develop a better understanding of how we all coexist amongst each other! He has drawn people to become more educated; respectful humans!😄👍🦌
You have to worry about the shrubs & lawn in your own yard & out & about first, a tick feeding isn't going to let go of one meal to latch onto you.. 20 yrs of direct contact w/deer, more ticks in suburban yards & @ our RC airplane flying field than in woods, I found that experience quite interesting.. part of why Lyme disease scares me so much.. those ticks can be in your shrubs, grass, or garden..& you just have to always be vigilant!🤔🤯😬
*Their summer coats are thin, your'e gonna see ribs, hips, veins & taut well developed musculature right through that coat, like a body builder wearing a tight T-shirt..come winter, their coat is more like thick wool mat with fluff underneath!
