Jimny, is it worth considering? My ownership experience

I had earlier owned Honda Mobilio MPV. It was too a wonderful family car…🚙. However, I always felt a need of a 4x4 car as I love adventure travelling.
Hence, I got Jimny booked on 15th January, during the auto expo. After a long wait of almost 5 months, I got my Jimny delivered on 14tg June. Within 2 days of purchase, I took the Jimny to Himachal Pradesh. Mine was the first owned Jimny to traverse through the beautiful mountains of Himachal…🛣️. I could feel the scarcity of power, but it only had run 700kms by then. Experts told me that a car would give its maximum after 4K to 5 k of run. And today, I can feel some improvements.
I am loving my car. Though it’s a lifestyle vehicle, but I have been also using it as my primary car and it does really well. Thanks my Jimny…😊.
I call it “Indie”…named after Indiana Jones…😇

Bhaisaab apne Jimny ki ekdum sahi assessment ki. Main ne saari technical specifications study karne ke baad ab Jimny lene ka decision liya hai as my only car before retirement. Not as a seocond car meant for only offroading or weekend trips as some people tend to suggest. Jimny ticks all the right boxes. Aapko badhai. Enjoy your ownership experience. मैंने भी अभी हाल मे ही Jimny Alfa Automatic ली है, मुझे भी Jimny को देखते ही प्यार हो गया था, driving Licence भी Jimny लेने के बाद ही apply किया है.. मेरी पहली Car है ये इससे पहले Bikes का ही शौक था 😅 अब देखते हैं मैं और मेरी Jimny क्या गुल खिलाते है. आपके वीडियो को देख कर और भी उत्साहित हुआ ❤

Bridgestone duelers are 7500 rs anyways ...people are changing them and paying 5000 extra for tyres ...each tyre is costing close to 10 k after return . Makes no sense spending 50k extra

👍🏻 very good Bhai jimny is a very very good vehicle or say it an all rounder car completely , undoubtedly preforms very good off the roads in deserts , on wet terrains , on rough terrains and its performance on the road is also very worthy .

I am happy with the car…the only concerns I have…one, the average and two the service cost…average is lesser as compared with other Suzuki cars and maintenance is higher than other Suzuki cars…but given the nature of the I think it is acceptable. Average is around 10-12 kmpl… Mine was among the first Jimny in Delhi NCR…so was pretty expensive…₹15.8 lakhs on road

I had Honda Mobilio earlier. In long drives, from Manali to Delhi, I didn’t feel any difference. For other passengers, if they are of average Indian height, then also it is comfortable.

In my opinion, it is a good car for 4 people. I just completed a journey from Delhi to Pauri and back..it gave an average of 15.5kmpl…comfortable driving for long driving hours.

Hi bro.., what about the under thigh support for the rear passenger seat? Did you get any padding added when you changed the seat cover? How much did it cost?

Yes my friend, I got all 4 seats padded for extra thigh support by a inch or so. The entire seat cover cost me around 15k…. And they are far far superior than what you get in the market…They are customised with my initials…and come with 7 years warranty…they are heat resistant as well

Will your front seat cover not block the side air bags?

As per @pegasus premium, it won’t impact the functionality of side air bags

@@599route I strongly recommend you get this verified in the Nexa showroom, your information is almost certainly incorrect . The original extra cover for the front seats that is sold by Suzuki does not cover the sides of the front seat. Also, in the car manual, section 2 pg 46 (2-46) is clearly says that non-genuine covers will obstruct the side airbags that pop out of the front seat-there are airbags inside the front seat on the sides, it is getting obstructed in your car just now with the seat covers you have. You paid for a car with 6 airbags for your safety, don't let that money go to waste because of bad accessories! Also, covering that side may cause undesirable effects like extra force generated from the airbag if it deploys! Be careful, check with Nexa!

Definitely under power , 1 more problem as u told 3 people can not sit properly on back side , I think it's around 90,000 expensive , because door closing sound also not good and instead of 15" company should have given atleast 16"

Yea mate, it is expensive if we go by the size or power…tyre size, I have no complaints…but if we have had some more ground clearance, that would have been amazing. And, the tyre size automatically on the higher size.

@@599route yeah you can only hope that the air bags will open , but risking your and your co passengers safety just for cool seat covers does not make sense . Check out the seat covers available at nexa, you will see that the air bag portion is not covered.

I agree with you Buddy and try to keep calm. But most of them are not so if you have done something, especially in places like Delhi where aggression is full on.
