Arshad the first batch of jimny is showing troubles with driveshaft…A first batch jimny from our garage was requested by maruti for testing this…they are trying to test if this is a batch issue or not…you can get your car by attended by a maruti engineer…service centres are useless with these issues…if you happen to have contact with any nexa personnel…get your complain registered…they are actually sending engineering team to ascertain this issue.
Has the engineering team able to solve the problem. I was also visited last year when I first reported this issue. The engineers from MSIL had no knowledge of the problem and how to solve it..
@@tegbir1007 No they took the vehicle last week only…did some go pro shooting underneath under various weights and articulation and some laser micrometer readings…they came in a jimny themselves…as per the talk i had with them the cross member is being evaluated for a redesign…apparently the issue is somehow not universal and hence the delay…we have had 3/4 jimny in and out of our garage but none of them showed signs of it we only knew when one of our friends was asked during the service if he would be willing to submit his vehicle for tests.
@@pallavraj1923 lol..I have been through all this last year.. they know about the manufacturing defect in the design. But they will not accept it.. will give weird explanations. In my case MSIL engineers had visited the service centre by confirming the date of time of visit.. I was told a month before that a modified part would be installed in your Jimny which is under trial in Japan.. and mine would be the 1st Jimny in India to get this part and your problem would be solved.. lol.. The part they changed was a chain set of the transmission.. I told them this was not the problem. Guess what, the problem persists. These MSIL employees were so shameless , the regional sent me an email, that we changed the part and the problem is solved. The thing is what BRH expeditions Arshad is facing, I experienced last year. Then tried many Jimny’s , everyone had the similar problem..this vibration and sound comes with time if one drives in 1st gear while going steep uphill and tries to accelerate. Doesn’t happen in 2nd gear upwards. The bottom line, by increasing the wheelbase, the MSIL engineers didn’t know the repercussions and now the Jimny owners are experiencing it. The problem is called “Axle Wrapping” and one person in India can solve the problem and that’s MMG where Arshad had visited, and I and some of my Jimny owners will get the problem solved as well from Gagandeep of MMG.
@@tegbir1007Axel wrap was something we were aware of from the beginning…but the prop touching the cross member was something you do not expect even then…the issue is definitely not something that can be replicated easily…we have been trying to but still unable to get that mark…the tbhp forum has this issue documented as well it really baffles me because in the video Arshad complains of it while the car is on a cruise on the highway…if the design is really this flawed the car needs to be recalled…they have been shipping jimnys to Australia quiet heavily will try to find out if similar issue is happening elsewhere
@@pallavraj1923 as per my experience, this problem could be because of improper coil springs and shockers, because with time this problem tends to increase . One should ask people who got suspension upgrades with lift kits

Nexa me service hota h thik h but still or thoda premium lgne ke liye kuch krna chahta hai. Aadami apni hard earned money se car leta h wo bhi offroadr other options hote hue bhi or unko acchi service na mile it's not good for their image 5:35 sir ignore this type of peoples... Bawa! Come towards the south in Bangalore. Ek baar ek get it chrcked in suraksha motors in electronic city bangalore. I have purchased my jimny in lucknow. Got it serviced in UP, rajasthan, mumbai and bangalore. But bangalore ones was superb. Agar bawa want to get in touch with them try kariye.
if suzuki claims it to be 4x4 then suzuki should ensure the vehicle handle all kind of abuse. i did leh ladakh recently & breaks is really an issue. downhill pe the breaks don't work, they just get hard..
Ye chiz same mere sath feel hui but purvanchal expressway par 120-130kmph par continues chalayii but kuch issue feel nhi hua but jaise hi next day mumbai to delhi expressway par same yahi chiz feel hua,koi koi time par to ye oscillation itna badhta hua feel hua jaise palat jayegi phir break marna padta tha and isko sahi krne ka bas ek hi tarika h rev ster kro halka halka and issue soft suspension ki wajah se lag raha h
It may be happening because of cross wind and changes in aerodynamics due to the placement of things on roof rack. Don't drive fast if crosswind is strong.
Rocking movement at high speed probably happening due to wind buffeting because of additional roof mountings. Remove the roof mount and do the test. It could also happen due to strong crosswind.
Underbody protection lagvao bhai ye sab nahi hoga simple hai aur suspension toh aftermarket ke liye jao best quality will have no issues. Maruti ki service itni bekar bas Jimny ke liye hai ya fir sab gaddiyo ke liye ?

Jimny needs to get their service technicians trained completely before it is too late....private players will slowly begin to step into that space because of Maruti's lack of understanding...
Bhai gadi me jo problem hai vo to hai hi .. uske bare mein to mai khch nahi bolunga .. But agar bhai ye aapka profession hai to phir ya to is poori gadi ko modify karo aftermarket .. suspension se lekar lift kit, heavyduty shaft kit or axle with turbocharger etc etc .. Ya bhai toyota hilux kharidlo ... Thar itni capable nahi hai .. Hilux thodi expensive hai.. it depends upon your budget. The last option is only jimny.. jitni jimny capable hai utni Hilux or thar bhi nahi hai .. we all knew it quite well .. Ek option or ho sakta hai .. vo hai toyota ki choti 4x4 offroader .. jo ki European market mein launch hone vali hai .. Shayad india mein bhi aaye jimny ke competition mein .. As a mechanical engineer.. i would really suggest ki jimny ko hi modify karo kisi aachi workshop mein .. It will give great results .. At last choice is always yours..
I have said this earlier also and I'm repeating it again. Please file a consumer complaint immediately in District Consumer Protection Forum against the concerned Nexa service center at rajasthan, who are responsible for deficiency in service. Nexa will have to compensate you for providing poor service, after it gets proven in the Consumer court.
