Hi. I am 69+ so I rarely cry. I used to be a prolific cryer, but once you have experienced life in all its variations, you do become a little numb. I have followed BTS since 2016. They have the ability to bring tears. Especially with this performance. My son served in the US Marines as a sniper, enlisting at the age of 17. For me, this is watching a son go off to serve again. It is killing me. I know what his parents are feeling.
this song highlighted Jin's low register and his high notes as well. so when I learned he will perform live, I knew that Jin will have to do some belting. And I guessed right that it will be the I LOVE YOU. And he really sang it passionately and with all his heart. the last I LOVE YOU made me cry more especially the way he sang the YOU, like with a sad sigh. though this song still breaks my heart, I am so happy for Jin. this Coldplay fan boy was able to work with his idols and even performed with them in their own concert. Such a dream come true. Ever so thankful to Chris and Coldplay for being so loving and supportive to Jin especially during these times. They gave Jin their stage and this special moment. Jin said in his morning live that Chris told him that he can have the stage and say anything. But Jin said he won't since that is their concert. This is the same thing Chris told them when he was a guest at the PTD LA concert. But Chris really wanted Jin to say something so Jin said his brief Thank Yous and I love you. Jin, Chris and Coldplay are just so selfless and beautiful people, inside and out.
Jin might not show all his sides but what he does show is genuine 🥰 All BTS member show a genuineness and honesty that most huge celebrities don't and that's why they are where they are 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
ALL the emotions right here in this short performance. I love that we got and felt everything and more. The fact that we even got a snippet of Jin’s iconic laugh in the performance is the icing. 🥲 The last “I love you”, though… wow. My heart!! 💜💜💜
I m so sad 😭..our Jinnie can't bear the cold...but he is going to endure the pain...coz of us 🥺...an article said usually there will no applicants after the end of October for enlisting in military...coz there will be more winter...for the first 3 months with low degrees..also intense training ... 😭He is such an angel 🥺💜 oh god must protect him at all cost!.
Love the friendship between Cold Play n BTS. Listening to this song since the releasing day, it is worth it for a huge band like Coldplay to work with Jin n including him in their own concert, no one can do that but Cold Play. I admired Chris Martin for helping out a brother n I salute Cold Play for their love n support for that young man. His dream is fulfilled before leaving to the Military Duty for 2 years. Timing n life is that all about. Bravo.
we did our best here in Argentina to make him feel at home, safe and that we love him. it was the first time one of them was here, so it was huge for ARMYArgentina. that´s aour biggest stadium that accomodates 65k people.
To always have Jin with me while he is away, I bought 2 Pandora dangling charms - the Astronaut and the Moon & Blue Sky. They are so cute. They will always remind me of his 2 beautiful songs.
I’ve watched this part of Coldplay’s concert over and over again. Each time I get less sad for myself and more happy for Seokjin. He has, once again, achieved one of his lifelong goals… performing with his childhood heros, Coldplay. 💜 That he was able to reach this goal before entering his military service, and in honor of ARMY makes it so much more special for Seokjin and for ARMY. My thoughts and prayers will be with Seokjin, now and always…🫠💜
Nobody has ever Michael Jacksoned a Michael Jackson outfit like Jin Michael Jacksoned that Michael Jackson-inspired outfit in this performance. But seriously, I've been teary since the announcement and I feel like Jin is just too pure for this world and I am hoping his enlistment is not too horrible and he comes back to us healthy and whole. I love BTS and Jin so much. I am just going to miss him so, so, so much.
I find myself worrying about Jin and the other members even more now because there is growing tension between N and S Korea. I am a 63 year old ARMY! Wish I could give you a hug and tell you it will be okay! It WILL be okay, but the emotions are still there!

I saw a video that army who came to the concert cried and hug each other after jin performed or after maybe after concert, i don't really remember. But yeah they cried and hug each other.

Finally after a week i don't ugly cry watching the MV, listening to the song or watching the performance. now I just tear up so I guess it's a progress (?)🤠 Everything about The Astronaut is just so beautiful. I'm not someone who cries easily but when it comes to Bangtan... I swear last week I was bawling my eyes out every single day 😭 And the fact we have to go through this 6 more times.. 🙃 JIN WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU AND WE WILL WAIT THEY HAVEN'T GONE YET BUT WHY I'M MISSING THEM SO MUCH ALREADY?? 😭😭💜 I was really ok when the new came out bc everyone knew this was coming but I guess it's really hitting us all now. I mean, this is literally a song to say goodbye for a little while and to say that Jin love us 😭😭 This performance was SO beautiful and special. All the wholesome moments Jin had with Chris made me so emotional. Anyways, I want to thank to all the Armys in Argentina and the ones who traveled to support Jin. It was amazing 💜 This was the first time any member of BTS visit that country and it was a while since them visited Latam. What honestly sucks is that we’re gonna feel this way again 6 more times cause of the other members. And it’s like as soon as we get used and okay with one member leaving another one is gonna go and the tears start all over again like I love this song but I can not listen to it cause I legit break out in tears each time
aaaa i was there that night! i usually never cry at concerts because I'm just shocked with so much joy that i can't, i just cry afterwards. but that night i started crying with the speech and didn't stop until i left the stadium:') i just sang the astronaut at the top of my lungs while drowning in my tears literally. this was such a special moment for argentina army and i know he felt all our love even tho we were probably like 30% of the stadium! i will never forget that smile that i saw with my own eyes when he left the stage😭💜

I’m glad I’m not a reactor because when I watched the mv and this performance I cried untill I was hiccuping , there was snot and hitched breathing, I got a headache and I rubbed my eyes so much it left a mark the next day (like a hicky but from rubbing so much with a tissue)
