This just shows the cultural difference between America and South Korea. It is an unwritten rule that every artist must stand up when someone wins an award to show respect and bow to them if they walk past if they are sunbaenims in South Korea. When BTS stood up (I guess they are used to it) the others just looked around and followed them. I am actually speechless at the influence they have over the audience that night.
