Yes it's true, Jin was a commander in their training not because of his idol status but because he perform so well. He is one of the best in their batch.
its funny how can an idol status help in becoming a commander 😂😂 ......of course you have to be top class in all training program only then you can become a leader
Jin did so well in training that they made him the commander of his training unit. He then was promoted to PFC and made an assistant trainer. I'm very proud of him. Jin is stunningly handsome, truly looks like a prince, sings like an angel, has the biggest heart and is the hyung of hyungs the way he cares for his members. He's a treasure in every way.
Mine too....in fact favorite celebrity of all time....he dethroned Beyonce and Boy George! Lol...They never impacted or impresses me like he has...I just love him...he's so impressive. ..so so sweet and humble!❤
I'm not shocked because kpop artists have to be extremely regimented and work through difficult schedules and push through uncomfortable situations. They can learn to be extremely tenacious and focused. Jin is young but old enough to have maturity, and smart and strong and a very hard worker. He would be a perfect leader. I'm not surprised that he excelled. I'm really proud of him.
when you think about it, most people in bts already knew at least to a degree how to dance, sing, rap etc. but jin is the only one who had to learn everything from scratch and he's as good as he is so him doing well doesn't surprise me and bts' work ethic is like no other not to mention he's very social and makes everyone happy around him now that he's in the army he's RIPPED too so i'm sure he's been working hard also, as a sidenote he probably already gets more respect because of his age maybe being older than a lot of young recruits who HAVE to serve because he waited so i'm sure he was kind of a natural to put into a leadership position (not to say that's the only reason obviously but it could also play a part already taking into consideration all his talent)
Let me explain. During the first five weeks of basic training JIN became 'The company commander trainee' means he was the leader of about 200 trainees. And also led the graduation day ceremony after basic training. Now serving as 'Assistant Drill Instructor' You need to be in top 5% of all trainees for that. He's doing AMAZING!
Jin’s throat is sexy, when his forehead shows he is dangerous. He is the perfect handsome including all the aspects: sweet, sexy, hot, athletic, aesthetic perfection, vulnerable, gift of the gods.
Here's some info about Jin in the military: Based on Military Training Center training period is 5 - 6 weeks. In this period he underwent the painful chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear (CBRN) training in the army. Also, undertake live-fire drills and went on a 20km loaded march. A lot of people try to avoid some of these and people in Korean praised Jin for being exposed to tear gas. During this time he became "Company commander" of his squad (200 people) and was chosen among many by his skills. After that training period, he became officially the "Assistant drill instructor." That means that Jin was in charge of leading the next novice recruits that arrived to the military center. The process of selecting this position is the apprentices that stand out in many aspects and is based on the good history of each apprentice with a remarkable performance in the field of ability and he also got an interview for this position. 😌 As an assistant drill instructor, he had to wake up early, go to bed late, and take care of all kinds of stuff. Because of this duty Jin gets more days of vacation than the other people. Now he's promoted to Private First Class! Jin's mark of rank on his chest will be switched to a two-striped badge and he will be discharge until he gets the Sergeant rank. (4 striped badge). So basically, Assistant instructor is a job duty that he'll maintain for the duration of his service period. All active duty soldiers serving for the full 18 months will have the same rank schedule until they get discharged regardless of their job duty unless they have special circumstances. I hope I helped you in some way with this info if you read it haha. 💜 Fun fact: A while ago Korean citizens were calling Seokjin Captain Korea because he's doing really good lol
Jin got early promo 2x cos he really excelled in everything. He is a sergeant now and the highest rank for active military soldiers. Attaining asst drill instructor is super hard, 1 father of a soldier recently posted that it is really hard and to attain it is really praise worthy! It’s not just excel once and forget it, he had to maintain the high standards continuously!❤
Yeah he's always been ripped but also he's very lean, so he's a slender type of muscular, the military gave him some extra muscle weight but he's always been so athletic
Since Jin has enlisted in the military he has gained a lot of muscle, since not only do they intensely exercise, but they also eat more protein and more healthy in general than what his idol diet allowances were. All that muscle just makes him so much more appealing! 💜
We all love Jin, he is so beautiful, so talented, so charismatic, yet so sweet and goofy and kind - his jokes are legendary in the fandom. He has become so used to being the eldest hyung in BTS and has amazing leadership skills - he became the commander of his rookie training squad because he stood out as a leader - he is still a private in terms of rank.
Jin is my bias...his face, height, well built body, a college degree, intelligence, good voice, and an experienced leader made him to acquire a high leadership rank in the military
Jin is the reason why I got into BTS in the first place! I saw him towards the end of the Just One Day music video and what instantly hooked. I hope he is doing well in the military and can't wait to see him again!
Jin is a likable, courteous, respectful and respectable gentleman who is also a responsible and fast learner. He's quick on his feet and takes instructions really well. He DOES NOT NEED to depend on his looks which we agree are exceptional.
Jin looks like he makes the most of the situation wherever he goes. The man really is worldwide handsome 😩 Favorite part Ben: “he is really making me question my sexuality” 😩😩😩 that part
Jin is quite smart and very intelligent in so many ways that people tend to overlook at times, his ability to master things quite fast is why he's a commander (most army's here can relate on some of run bts eps, especially the one they were meant to guess the dancing styles, he knew almost all of them) so yeah he totally earned it with his abilities not because he's a kpop star 😌☺️
I think apart from being smart, Jin has emotional intelligence. If you look at his relationship with each of the members,it is catered to who they are, and its his real self that we get very few but fulfilling glimpses.
Jin is the most humble and natural member in BTS..he is the comedian of the group he always jokes around and don't care about his image but... there's a rare moments when he's serious and sexy 😱 I swear if Jin one day stops his jokes and turn into the charismatic handsome man Army will die for sure
Jin became the Commander of his training group and led the graduation ceremony! He then became a training assistant which involves training the new recruits a position that is incredibly hard to attain as only those in the top 5% of the training group are considered and they must pass interviews and have a good education. He has since been promoted to Private First Class quite early in his enlistment and it has been reported that he is excellent in his job. Everything he has attained has been through his own hard work and not for who he is. He has chosen one of the most difficult jobs for an enlistee and not taken an easy route. Far from chilling , he is working very hard! This of course is what we would expect from Jin. 💜
Yes Seokjin became a commander- not over an official unit but over his trainee unit since all of his peers trusted him and voted for him. He's been getting promoted a lot based off his skills but yes he's extremely beautiful too.
So proud of Seokjinnie, love him so much 🥺🥺 And yes, he was given the title "company commander" back in January and became the spokesperson for his whole unit; about 200 people. You can see all this by looking at the badges he wears 🥰 After that he got promoted to the rank of ‘Private First Class’ and now he is an Assistant Drill Instructor helping with the very first training that all new enlisted men have to follow. Beyond proud!
He was voted by the fellow soldiers to become commander of his platoon , he checked all the required for the role . Now he is assistant drill instructor, he was trained and passed his exam for that. Not because he is k-pop idol . It is actually a hard , responsible job and is such out of comfort work for a celebrity to take up and he is too good. Check out his few comrades and trainees responses at military. Apparently he is very hard working than most of them.
Very well said, I don't like this guy's reaction to Jin excelling in the military it's as if he pulls some strings to be in that position but we all know that he works hard for that position. He works hard for his ranks. We all know that Jin is a hardworking man, don't discredit him.
Seeing from 0 Sing and dance to perfect bright shine singer and dancer, his hard work is not a joke. People underestimate him just because of his handsome face and a superstar.
Yep, Jin became the commander in his batch, not because of status, but he applied for that position - physical drills were done, even college grades were considered to become picked and eligible for the position. He's passed the requirements and became an Assistant Drill Instructor too for all new trainings, and now still going well. He serves as the role model to new recruits, getting up extra early than anyone else and performing extra duties to keep everything organized. He's such an exemplary man. Super proud of him! 💜
How is anyone surprised he would do well? He started BTS as a visual. No singing nor dancing background......he worked hard & dedicated himself to learning. When you do, you can do.
Jin had been hand picked through a series of interviews to lead his platoon's graduation ceremony (thats what you saw in the clips) and now after passing some evaluation tests he is now assistant trainer. meaning he trains people in the five week training period
He did so well his fellow trainees voted him their leader, then after the initial 5 weeks they assigned him as an instructor in the same camp he trained in. Even among idol/actor soldiers very few are able to be an instructor. Only like a handful of famous people have been able to do it before.
Jin became the leader of the platoon he was assigned to, he also helped them win in the military’s talent contest (they danced to dynamite if I’m not wrong), and was promoted to become a PFC (assistant trainer).
Me too but I don't like this guy's reaction to Jin excelling in the military it's as if he pulls some strings to be in that position but we all know that he works hard for that position. He works hard for his ranks. We all know that Jin is a hardworking man, don't discredit him.
Yes that's a perfect word to describe Seokjin, ICONIC. God I love him so much and miss him 😭💜 He's SO handsome, humble, talented and funny. He's perfect!
If you go back and watch their pre-debut videos, he was very self conscious about his looks. It took him being called handsome by a stranger, and telling him to be more comfortable and confident in himself, that made the World Wide Handsome Jin!
Which is strange bc he was being stopped since he was 15 yrs old in the street bc of how beautiful/handsome he was, he was attracting entertainment agencies since he was a kid- and his college friend said he was popular in school too due to his looks, so i think it had to do with his family just raising him right in showing that life is about hard work not just simply about what youre born with
Jin's picture should be next to the word 'perfect' in the oxford dictionary He's handsome, goofy, bright, sexy, smart, tall, is a great dancer and singer, I couldn't possibly ask for anything else🤩
Jin is like the perfect son, son-in-law parents could dream of. He's handsome , funny, kind ,playful and caring . The one oldest child of a family (BTS) that takes care of his siblings cooks for them , plays along with them but also has the authority to keep them under control.
Jin was selected "Commander" over his bootcamp company. His unit that he trained with in bootcamp. There is a huge difference between a company commander over his unit, and the military rank of Commander which is a high officers rank. Jin is not an officer, he's enlisted. Jin's rank is Private first class, but in his specific unit,, he was selected to be their leader, or Commander. He was selected because of the leadership qualities and because he was respected amongst his peers. The same thing happened with my son during his training. He was selected Commander over his peers in his specific bootcamp unit. That did not equate him to being a Navy Commander which is pretty high rank. Hope this makes sense.
