@@temshoppingMost of the animation was already done years ago. Toriyamas death happened 10 days ago. We also saw SJW do the jumping at a later point in the manhwa. I know it would be cool if it was a reference but at this point its just plain coping

This episode actually hit hard because it showed how the world can be so unfair in every aspect, and the purple haired guy was spitting some real stuff about how reality is. If you stare into the abyss, it stares back at you. GETTING DEEPER AND DEEPER.

When you consider he was BARELY E-ranked (only thing lower is the Level 0 peasants that in D&D you only have to say to the DM "I kill this guy") and he just killed a "cream of the crop" B-rank, he's gone bottom-E-D-C-top-B already. Four full ranks.

Once again, I am wondering why this group of hunters was even needed in the first place. Kang could have been told to go himself and sweep the whole dungeon, boss included. "Rules are rules. 10(8) people mandatory." is bullshit when you're dealing with an exodus of Hunters and are short on man-power. When B ranks can solo D and sometimes C rank dungeons, you make use of every hunter you can.

@@visoth7791 they don't show it all that much but there's more to clearing a dungeon than just defeating the boss. They have extra people to do everything else other than defeating monsters and the boss to properly make use of a dungeon. Mining mana crystals, gather monster materials and their essence stones. Plus having that minimum numbers is a way to plan for unexpected events. Look at the first double dungeon, things like that are plausible so they have to make sure the hunters have backup in case something unexpected like that happens.

i say it every video 😂 I make these jokes just for the manhwa readers. I read the first half of solo leveling 4 years ago and then i read along weekly as the rest of it came out until it initially concluded. I made a similar joke about the one guy losing an arm in episode 1. I remember things here and there but I forgot a lot of it. Despite that, you literally cant read Solo Leveling and forget the word/ability that's used more than any other in the series, iykyk.

17:37 "They skipped over the boss room, though." In the light novel, Jin-Woo tossed the last surviving criminal (the one the old man had paid to be killed, who was unrepentant and practically admitted to abusing multiple women) into a room full of hobgoblins and then one-shotted their boss. Kang Taeshik killed off all three criminals in the anime, making the trip to the boss room unnecessary.

@@anxarts7424 My prediction is that episode 1x12 will end with Jin-Woo realizing that defeating the Blood Red STARTS the Job Change Quest. I could be wrong, though, as the opening definitely hints that that fight will occur this season/core. My backup prediction is that episode 12 will end on the cliffhanger of the countdown reaching zero, and that there'll be a lot of, "What does the countdown mean? Oh! Wait! He didn't do the Daily Quest!" from the anime-only reactors.

i was not sure...but now i am...A 1 us doing justice to solo leveling and fans are not appreciating it enough....sure its not ufotable quality but it is certainly on par or better than Wit, Mappa and Madhouse quality...and it's Consistent...
