I loved this movie! Though I must admit that prior to seeing it, I did not know who Julie Gonzalo was. She's an excellent actress with a very natural talent! I find her facial expressions to be very charming, and fitting to situations. And I love that scar between her eyes. LOL. I absolutely LOST IT during the scene where she meets Amanda. And Amanda thinks she and Matt are dating. Matt panics and says, "Oh, definitely not!" Jessica (Gonzalo) whips around on him with a red-hot scowl, in a deep voice, and says, "DEFINITELY NOT?" LOL.

A good film. The attraction and romance started slow as it should. But by the end it was believable. The two leads had good chemistry. Grandma stole the show though. How could you not love her? I hope you continue to have the courage to make more movies like this.

Normally I would say a mixed race couple in this climate is a good way forward, Kevin Hart does it brilliantly in his films, 50/50 and it works but unfortunately in this film judging by the trailer the only one that can act is the black guy, the girl looks over the top. Stick the black guy in a film with actors and I'll come back.
