I'm usually a hardcore f2p player with any form of gacha game, but for both Kafka and Jingliu, I admit to spending about £30 on each to get their pull after really trying for it with my saved jades... Hurts to dip into the bank, but I have no regret with those 2 after failing so hard when I was trying to get Blade and never did.
I mean if you lose your title of F2P just because for a waifu, and in this case 2 waifus, then you are not a hardcore F2P player, dont clump us with you.. haha jk

Ngl, Clara's actually a huge W. Especially with Topaz coming up, there's nobody who will synergise with her as hard as Clara, and even without Topaz, Clara's god tier. Far as I'm concerned, you won twice.

Had to hard pity at 180.... But got Jingliu along with Welt in my last 10 pulls. At least that means I won't have to worry about 50/50 in the next banner.
My double early Jing Yuan pull has been haunting me. Haven’t won one 5050 since. Didn’t even want Jing Yuan since I was just tying to get one copy of Tingyun which I was able to get from standard banner… lol

At this points the rates/luck suck so bad for some of us, you just have to assume every character costs 30k gems, and you'll get about 3 characters a year. Then decide if thats enough to keep playing. Now I'll just be over here pouting with my Yangquing.
I been saying this since the beginning but peeps got on my case for it. When the entire appeal of your game is story & characters and not much else (and people will barely be able to pull new characters even after grinding every single day for months straight), you've got a problem. I don't like Genshin at all, but at least if you don't get a new character, you've still got a world to explore. You can enjoy the scenery, fly, swim, customize a house, and find your own ways to pass time in the game. There has to be something of value beyond just the characters for the game to last successfully. That's HSR's biggest flaw right now. It relies too heavily on the excitement of story updates and gacha, but not enough on providing an engaging experience in other parts of the game. Simulated Universe and Memory of Chaos can be fun and challenging. But doing the same fights every day since the game's launch has become more of a chore than anything. Having a new character freshens up the experience. But you're not going to always have a new character if you're not a whale. Furthermore, even if you do get a new character, it takes far too long to build one up for use at your level. It adds up to not being a very good gameplay experience. To be fair, Sephiroth was added to FF7 EC a little while ago and I had to grind for resources to use him like I'd have to for HSR. But unlike HSR, the game showers players with enough stamina to play as much as we want. So it took me a day to get him to max level and have fun in the other content. HSR is in this weird spot that many gachas are in where they want me to play and "not play" at the same time. It's tiresome to deal with. HSR is still early in its lifespan and they're developing new modes. But in the meantime, it's just gonna be a depressing experience for a lot of people. Waiting for fun (by way of a new character on their account) to appear for them. Imagine logging in every single day for the rest of your life, only to afford 3 to 5 new characters or so a year if you're taken to 180 pulls every time. You have to ask yourself whether you like the Simulated Universe enough to put yourself through that. Anyway, just remember how you feel now and share those thoughts during the HSR player survey. They distribute one after every patch. Hopefully Hoyo will think about ways to improve the game based on that - regardless if they choose increased stellar jade rewards as a solution or not. I was wondering if someone else has shit luck like me. I lost every 50/50 (2 yanqing,1 himeko,1welt not a single bronya). My avg pity is like 130. After losing again, I got mad and tried to pull for her lightcone and with the incredible luck I got it(incredible luck = winning with %75 chance on soft pity). If I couldn't get her lc I would delete the game.

Ey, Mtashed got Jingliu but lost the LC to Clara’s LC while u got Clara and got Jingliu’s LC If trade was possible u guys can have 1 having full Jingliu and the other with full Clara

Clara is really good against multiple enemies and Lynx works well with her. Also she has a very useful element for toughness breaks. Personally if we don't count Bronya and maybe Welt i have her on my top3 most-wanted standard characters.
I pulled seele at 24 pity, SW at 34, Kafka at 50, Blade at 19, Lunae at 77, (lost 50/50 on fu xuan but im glad i did so i can guarantee jingliu.) i actually lost 50/50 on blades banner aswell but i dont really count it since i still got blade under 50 pity. Lost at 31 won at 19.
Funny Thing Is A Similar Scenario Happened When i Was Pulling For Imbibitor Lunae i Lost The 50/50 To Bronya Witch That's Is Still A W It Felt Like A Bitter Sweet Moment But I Choose To Grind For 7 More Single Pulls And On The Last Pull He Showed Up
Busted all my savings on Jingliu. The 300 Oneiric i have that one time i bought a pass. The currency that we can use to buy 5* Standard LC, used that to buy some more pulls. Gone, reduced to atom. Lost the first 50/50 on 40 pity. Had to pull another 80 to get the guaranted. I thought I had a generous amount of jades, turns out it's only enough for 1 Jingliu.
im on Guaranteed Jing Liue but it take me hard pity to get her so now i have 20 jades left im still gona try to get Seele still have 40 days a whole patch story,events etc rewards i have daily pass and bp
I thought my luck was bad before Jingliu, since I always either lost the 50/50 or hit hard pity... but pulling Jingliu scarred me... Hit hard pity and lost the 50/50, then hit hard pity again for the Jingliu. The only bright side, if it is one, is that my Bronya is now E4...
I lost Kafkas LC 75/25 for Welt's LC. Then I got it again on standard. Then a third time yesterday when pulling for JL. (100 loss on 75/25) Accounts are seeded and bait "wins" are a feature

Your account matters less because of you spending for getting all characters, is less relatable and thus is less interesting to see you pull. If you were selective about what you pulled people would care more about your account
Honestly, you can probably get a ROI with one Clara video. Even if it’s just for the meme. I would shit on her before I was forced I lost my 50/50 to her and built her to cope. She’s pretty fun. Especially on Elation or Destruction path. Pretty fun to use with Blade as well.
I was blessed with Jing in my first (and only) 10 too (I decided to do 1 pull cos I have e5 QQ so was actaully hoping just to finish her lol), but I am saving for the next banner.. Now i'm not sure if I should try to go for the e1 and just have her as a nice dmg chr to bring out when frost vuln exists, or to try to properly level her and deck her out >

Have lost to Clara for the 4th time so when I saw that symbol I was prepared and already expecting something. So I put my card out. It was on 78 and 79 pity.
For me it's seele e0, silverwolf e0, Luocha e0 with signature, Kafka e1 with signature, fu xuan e0, Jing liu e0 with signature. My luck as a f2p is out of this world. I have lost only one 50/50 by now and it was on the Kafka banner

So this banner is baited so much because myself included got Clara during the soft pity and with her light cone banner I got the Clara light cone on soft pity so I had to double down on both in order to get her light cone and the Jingliu. I never got any signature light cone until now

Gacha that same thing happened to me. i was smug as all get out then it showed Clara. but i didn't have Clara so i wasn't too upset. i eventually got her, but man it stung a little haha.
