I'm surprised how well your x159 writes. I ordered three from three different vendors, and they wrote so dry, and the nibs werent aligned with the feed. I returned two and tried to open up the tines with a feeler gauge for the one i kept but to no avail.

Mine also arrived with the tine very tight, and the ink flow is just dry. I opened up the tine and the flow is very good now and it's very smooth! @@jacobonfountainpen ah, thank you. Did you isolate the nib on the x159 as well? I've seen one person unscrew the nib/feed from the feed housing/grip section, but I haven't seen anyone yank out the actual nib/feed from the feed housing/grip section.

Yes I'm able to pull the nib and feed out from the nib housing. I pull them when it was screwed inside section. And yes need quite a big force to yank it out!
