"Visually interpreting the track ‘cinétique’, meaning kinetic, allowed me to create vibrant movement throughout the video. James Lacey’s illustrations lent well to a machine-like music video, animating a loop of the artwork that is mechanical yet fluid at the same time, with a motion that aims to match the intricacy of the track.
Throughout the video the scenes construct into different compositions from parts of the artwork. The video begins and ends with an opening / closing frame, and maintains the framed format evoking the idea that you are gazing into a window as if you are looking into the many components of the song and artwork. These kinetic movements get progressively more dramatic as the track develops, until it ends with a frame of stairs to signify exit, and the end of the song."
