Jinjer - Dip A Sail It has the super death metal intro and melodic but powerful second part.

They're such complex and unique songwriters, and their execution is like no other. They're definitely my favorite band. Great reaction as always!

Jinjer is from the Donbass region of eastern Ukraine, which is a heavy mining area. After everything was privatized in the 90s, safety standards and salaries plummeted, but like in coal areas in America there’s not a lot of other work in those areas.

Cloud Factory is my Favorite album and sound from them. No Hoard is my favorite track. They did play No Hoard and cloud Factory back to back last Oct. I was right in front of Tatiana signing along like a maniac. She reached down and grabbed my hand (fingers) and gave the shake and made the METAL FACE Then torn it up. Glad to see people rock to this. watching you get into it one first listen gave me chills. thanks for doing this one. And I am glad this was not SMELLOVISION!!!

The drummer from this era has a huge Chris Adler LoG style, and it works. I still prefer Vlad's more complex style but this is brutal.

The region Jinjer is from is a coal mining region so this song was written about the miners Their logo is a mining grinding gear

I have not had the urge to be in the front row of concerts, But I made sure I was in the front row in Philly. Jinjer 2022 TLA! One of the best shows I have ever been to!

Tatiana has a high university degree and is a certified specialist in the field of Russian literature and poetry, so all the poems she wrote (yes, she writes not only almost all lyrics for Jinjer, but also a lot of poetry “just for the soul”) are so deep and affect the most complex human problems and experiences ... And this song is the pain of all residents of the South-East of Ukraine ... Tatiana and Jinjer as a whole are natives of the city of Gorlovka, which is located in the Donbass - Europe’s largest coal basin with coking coal. Therefore, 90% of the male population works in coal mines - from childhood, Tatiana saw around her mainly these harsh men, soaked in sweat and coal dust! During the Soviet Union, the miner profession was one of the most respected in the country, they had a huge number of different benefits, the highest salaries and pensions ... But after the collapse of the USSR, mines were sold for nothing to the oligarchs, who over the past 30 years have not carried out ANY equipment upgrade , salaries became one of the lowest, and practically no longer paid attention to labor protection and safety - as a result, Ukraine is one of the three leaders in mortality from accidents in mines and the number of major accidents! It is about such deplorable condition of mines and miners that Tatiana sings! Stay Metal! Peace! P.S. By the way, it is not in vain that the band’s emblem (logo) is a stylized image of a coal mill inside the drive gear! As Tatiana and Eugene explained in an interview: "This milling cutter will help us grind people's minds so that they begin to see the truth around them!"

O.K. About time for another Jinjer song! :-) Read a comment by a guy listening on that song. He was from a miner area in the US. Was close to tears because that text was so true! Yeah, of course, it was! Jinjer is from Doneszk, a miner`s area in the Ukraine! Of course, they know how that works! Anger and pity. Jinjer often is that way. That`s why i like them so much, it`s worth to listen to their texts. And ALTHOUGH this is a foreign languae for them! INCREDIBLE....

I absolutely agree with your opinion that they are the most important metal band today. They are so unique and talented. They are like FNM. Each song is completely different, but you can still tell it's theirs. Yes true artists, so talented and so good live. I can't wait to see them again. Next time I'll bring my daughter. Tatiana is definitely a role model for young girls. She is tough and completely, uniquely, and beautifully her.

Jinjer has quickly become my favorite band and I love watching the two of you react to their music. I'm relatively new to Jinjer, and thanks to your channel, know a bit about their Ukranian background and the coal industry there. But I had not heard this song yet. It's so coal that the industry has a song. Now middle America has a reason to listen to Jinjer. I shall spread the message!! Tati's vocals are shockingly good here and I want to thank you for showing me! The band was so good years ago and I hate that I missed it.

The rage and anger she puts on when she screams "GET DOWN TO WORK!" and on the last "DIG!", I haven't had such adrenaline rush and never felt so much energy through a song since THAT break on "Domination" by Pantera. Glad you got around to something else from Cloud Factory. You should definitely check out the title track. There is an official music vid and an official live vid that was recorded later after Vlad joined the band. Both are good, but I slightly prefer the live version.

Thanks for reacting to this song. Between this song and "plus or minus" always seems to get overlooked. Possibly because the videos are lyrical and not live/produced. I have not heard any songs by them I dislike. They have progressed a lot but I still love their older discography.

Great throwback! Hard, heavy and visceral song about the coal mines in their homeland in Ukrayne. They really don´t play it often. Maybe the best lyric video I´ve ever seen too. I´ve been a metalhead for decades and I agree with you, they are something else and a real standout in the last decade in the genre. Keep up the journey with this truly unique band.
