They just dropped the first single "Vortex" from their upcoming Album "Wallflowers" Comparing Vortex and Pisces will show how they have evolved the last 4-5 years.

I definitely think Perennial Wacken 2019 should be your next Jinjer song. I highly recommend you check out Spiritbox! There are 2 in a million that can sing/scream like that. I recommend Rule of Nines first. Also, both Jinjer and Spiritbox have “one takes” which is just these ladies performing alone and you can really get an idea of the power it takes to do these performances.

They are definitely a very very talented band. That being said, they have a top tier sound team that ensures they sounds absolutely flawless as far as the mix, vocal fx etc. Great reaction! If you're not adverse to metal bands that have screaming/growling, Beyond Creation is a great group to react to. Their musicianship is beyond comprehension sometimes. I could say the same for Polyphia, Chon, Covet If you like things that are technically incredibly, but without screaming/growling. Tatiana is truly the top goddess when it comes to this kind of music. I fell in love with the band the first time I saw them, and Tatiana is only one part of a truly amazing group. You really should check out some of their live stuff, it is awesome. There are many bands on RU-vid who do music like this...all you have to do is look for it. Three other bands that I like are Infected Rain, Once Human, and Straight Line Stitch. You should check them out, among others.

There are a few videos on how to use the false vocal folds to create that voice. The easiest way I can explain is if you ever BURP really long and hard to the point you can talk, you will get close to that voice. You will see just before she uses that voice she will stand back straight and feet apart so she has a very strong base.

Unfortunately I'm not a fan of Jinjers music, but I love Tatiana and I like people encounter her for the first time. Greetings from Germany!

Like others have said, check out their live performances at Wacken. Also "Judgment and Punishment - One Take" is a good next video to see Tatiana's technique up close. Some other female lead metal bands with growling women: Arch Enemy and Spiritbox, to name a couple of current ones, plus two defunct bands: ReVamp and Cerebral Bore. I'd put Tatiana of Jinjer and Alissa of Arch Enemy as 1 and 1A in the world of female death metal singers. Floor Jansen ex of ReVamp and now Nightwish, is not quite as good a growler (by her own admission) but she has the most insane transitions between growling and cleans, going from a growl to an operatic soprano in the span of one note. Som Pluijmers of Cerebral Bore had the deepest growl I've heard on a woman. I say 'had' as she is no longer in the music business AFAIK. Google "The Ladies of Death Metal" to see a very long list female death metal singers. They're far from rare, except in the American music industry. None of them yet have proven to be demons, they just sound like one.

Wait till you see her live. She commands the stage and holds the entire audience in the palm of her hand. And don't overlook the fact the band itself is also unbelievably talented.

Imagine I was on a festival called Summer Breeze in 2018 and was about to went back to my tent at night when I was approaching a small stage where they played.
