Jinjer - Vortex (drumcover by Dmitry Kim) 

Fucking amazing as always. I appreciate that it isn't a duplicate rendition, but rather a cover in your own style, which I happen to dig the shit out of.

I love Vlad's work, but Dmitry, your contributions to this band will always be remembered. If anyone has a right to do a cover of their newest release, it is you! As I understand, you worked in the studio and had a hand in recording this last album. Is that correct? Either way, I'm very much looking forward to Jinjer's next release from this upcoming album, and hope to hear your own take on the drums for it a week or so after.

Perfect job as always. High class drummer. Again, the fact that ex-drummer covers the current drummer tracks is unusual and sweet. Love both your and Vlad's routines on the same songs, they sound so different, and still so good. Again, still think that your "Captain Clock" is one of the best drum in heavy metal!

I like the motion, the flow, and the foot work.. awesome to see your version. The multicam or multi angle is the way to go. the camera swinging wild around the room are hard to watch. Thanks for doing these.

I am not a drummer but there must be a reason not many people are trying to cover this. I absolutely love the snare work in the intro. Love the addition of the double bass hits. Amazing! Great to see you do a full cover of this with Eissa from Morphide. Been following them a couple years now and if they want the big break I’m sure they can achieve it with the talent in the duo.

Excellent cover! I loved watching this! If i may give you some unsolicited advice... You should definitely hire a drummer who can edit videos... you miss a lot of opportunities to optimize these videos through the visuals. Loved your cover!

Very cool. Interesting to see what you did differently. I really like the double cymbal hit after the brief delay at 3:00 (start at about 2:55 to get into it). You play with tremendous power and precision! But... I'm not sure that's really the best match for Jinjer's style. Vlad has an effortless grace to his playing, floating over the set like a pianist's hands over the keys... and he has a sense of drama, dragging or leading the best, often at the same time, that's really difficult to replicate. Have you done a cover of Demolisher?

Good! But you're missing a ton of Ghost notes. I know your not playing it note for note, but the missing Ghosts is very noticeable and glaring. Especially since you can hear them on the entire original track that you're using as the backing track.
