Yes, George! The Charismatic Voice just interviewed Tatiana and she spoke to the incredible effort that it took for them to get noticed and recognized. They literally had to go to different countries to get recognition, just think about that for a minute. Let alone the fact that there is war going on and that they were basically dirt poor for years before any RU-vid viral shit, you wanna talk about being "hungry" for success... Man they could have given up a hundred times and they didn't. Respect to them.

and also The singer is one of the original members ..all the others have have left or was replaced. The consistency through all that is great testament to their luck of getting just the right people to keep the same sound. and the fact she writes in Ukrainian and the rhymes just happen during translation to english. and that she has little to do with the written music and writes the lyrics based on the feelings the music gives her

Look, I get why it's tough for you guys to hear the most aggressive parts of their music because that is acquired. I felt the same way. But I always knew if you listened to enough of their tunes, you'd eventually catch their skill. The band as a whole is SOOOOO tight musically and SOOOOO skilled. Don't let Tatian's crazy talent overshadow the band. I've listened to all kinds of music in my life and usually bands work in patterns...but Jinjer is a very unique example of a group that's tough to predict and I dig the hell out of that.

Been a minute. There have been a lot of great songs in between “I Speak Astronomy” and “Vortex.” I would recommend you react to more Jinjer. By the way, the drummers name is Vlad and he is a classically trained pianist and guitar player. He cowrites some of the music. He only started playing drums because his last band needed one. That is crazy how good he is considering it’s not his main instrument. This song does have a ton of change ups that only hardcore Jinjer fans can appreciate because they know all of their songs. Most people recognized how good the band was in “Pisces.” The shock from Tatiana’s voice threw you off your reaction game. Glad to see you reacting to more music again.

I was going to argue it's not necessarily better, just different, but no, objectively speaking it is definitely better. lol I LOVE their older stuff but there is a definite shift starting in Micro where Vlad's influence can be heard in the writing and I can honestly say I listen to the newer stuff way more now. So subjectively an argument could still be made when musical taste is involved, but objectively when one takes a step back and looks at the whole, Micro and everything following is definitely better than the preceding music as awesome as it was. It's like having a favorite drink that the maker changed the ingredients in and then admitting you like the new version more despite still really liking the original. lol

alright guys...this is my first view of your channel. You need to go back a listen to the rest of their music. Its all technically intricate and challenging. Anyway...you have to review the new release Wallflower. And, yes you have to go see them live. It's even better live. I've seen them three times now and the last time was in Baltimore before Covid and the headliner cancelled so Jinjer did an unexpected twice as long set. It was amazing.

Eugene is the bassist. Vlad is on the drums since 2016 and the live session of Pisces was basically created just to show him off, as his style made the song sound quite different to the original recording. Roman on the guitar and of course Tatiana on the vocals. You guys really missed out with not checking out more of their songs by the way, as there are quite a few more surprises than just her harsh vocals from the initial Pisces video. Jinjer has a very solid fanbase nowadays and the whole band is highly appreciated. Some of their playing might be too complex for just a single listen to fully get behind, so you might have to listen to the songs a few times until you really get into them and understand what is going on. I'll leave my usual recommendations again, minus the ones you did. Official video suggestions: Teacher, Teacher Cloud Factory Retrospection No Hoard Of Value (official lyric video) Home Back Mediator Sit Stay Roll Over Live suggestions: Perennial live at Wacken Who Is Gonna Be The One live On The Top live in Kiev Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev Judgement & Punishment (one take vocal performance) Captain Clock (official live at Resurrection Fest)

They're fairly proggy. Not being pretentious, but it's honestly not something most people, even metalheads, are very into.

Jinjer - Wallflower just released and it's my new favorite by hem. Check out Orbit Culture - 'North Star of Nija' (live in Studio). A metal classic to be with a mix of In Flames, Metallica and Gojira. They will do the Sirius XM Liquid Metal virtual show like Spiritbox did
