Jinjer Wallflower REACTION by Songs and Thongs 

Only Jinjer would write a metal song about an introvert with writer's block. That is why I love them. (subbed)

In the video, there's a direct correlation to the pressure she felt for procrastinating lyric writing for the album to the last second. Her bandmates pursue her, pressure her. The bullets (sharp words) at them do nothing, but then she sees the wolves on the wall, realizes her defensive anger and her over-reaction in a situation she created, and throws "her art" (metaphor for the lyrics they want) at the band and they go away. The wolf story (below) is critical to understanding her internal conflicts as displayed by the wolf art. this is their masterpiece in my opinion. such a flawless, intricate song with a lot of meaning for a lot of people

This is an amazing song, so much meaning in the lyrics for her. This is the first complete album I have bought in probably 15 years, maybe more. Not a bad song on it

Hi guys, I only heard this song for the first time about 3 weeks ago and it has become one of my favorite Jinjer songs, or favorite song in any genre within the last several months. It has fantastic songwriting, with really cool varied parts which blend seamlessly and gradually build up to the finale of the song. The guys are playing at the top of their game and Tatiana absolutely kicks a$$! I'm really hoping they're going to be able to make it over to America to do a tour this fall after their European tour and I've put a couple of impassioned, but kinda pathetic please for a tour on their Twitter page. 😁

1st hah! Ok so here goes, this comes from an interview Elizabeth Zharoff of Charismatic Voice did Tatiana is kinda introverted, and kind of a procrastinator. The guys chasing her are the band, they write the music and sends it to her for lyrics. And she puts it off till it's time to record. Also she says they keep making the music better, damn them! Anyways the red box is her creativity, the sand painting her lyrics. When she throws it at the band they leave her in peace. Great reaction!

Welcome back. This is a hauntingly beautiful video, and song. In the video Tatiana is trying to enjoy some alone time, while procrastinating about writing lyrics to the music that the band members have written. The band members become annoyed, and begin to get on her case about it. At first Tatiana resists, but eventually she throws some lyrics to the music, and the band members leave her alone. Tatiana has stated in interviews that this is how Jinjer's creative process tends to work. Glad you guys are back.

Gonna take a sec to drop you a suggestion. You see, so far, you've reacted to 3 of my top 4 metal bands. Ayreon, Jinjer, Unleash the Archers. But, as is usually the case, not my number one, woefully underrated favorite band. I kinda get it, a lot of their songs don't sink in until the 3rd listen or so. BUT, I feel that in particular, The Smoke of Many Fires official lyric video (Be'lakor) is a good first listen- for whatever reason I found I immediately knew how good it was. But they do have more recent releases that are fucking BAD ASS, it's just I didn't 'feel' them until a few listens. So if you have a better ear than me, I'd say Be'lakor's Valance or Hidden Window. Both kick ass. and are beautiful. btw, they're a Melodic Death Metal band from Australia. If I can find a good vocal coach that's who I want to sound like. May your day be Excellent.

I heard Tatiana say they felt like they were in the 90s. Just from this video I thought more of the 50s. BTW, here's something odd, the Alfred Hitchcock Presents" series is now on Peacock channel, 7 seasons that started in 1956. That run down the street and the B & W reminded me of his stuff, plus the good/bad... art... almost surreal...

Great reaction you two. Harry is spot on when he said back in the day when you bought an album from one of your favorite artist, you got maybe 4 or 5 songs you absolutely loved, and the rest of the album was just OK, nothing memorable. Now it's different, although I'm an old skool metal head and I only follow and love two "current" bands which are Jinjer and The Warning, everything they put out I absolutely love. Fun fact, Jinjers' song Mediator was only going to be a bonus track, but they ended up loving it so much that they not only put it on their Wallflowers album, they of course turned it into a single as well.
