Hey Josh, really enjoying your channel. Just thought I'd throw this in the mix. On March 7th I saw Jinjer live at The Zoo in Brisbane. I am 66 years old, so as you can imagine I have seen lots of concerts over the decades. This concert rates in my top 5...EVER !! They are that good !! This was also in a crammed, sweaty little venue that probably struggled to hold 800 people. Such was demand that they added a second concert on the Sunday night before they flew out to South America. Like Nightwish, this band is totally a sum of its parts, and in this case there are only 4. Really like your critiques and reactions...well done !! 😊😊

Should suss out the professionally filmed live vid of their song "Judgement and Punishment" from Melbourne (they did an Aus tour in the first week of March this year). I was at the gig and it was absolutely insane, hands down best show I've ever been too, they crushed it start to end!

Cheers on this reaction. One of my all time favorites whether live or studio versions for sure. It's always fun watching people try to headbang to that last dirty chunk before the outro. It's like they left out one beat from the measure. It take a time or two before you figure it out lol. Just keep going on the Jinjer music, doesn't matter where you go from here.

You should care about the endings of Jinjer's songs👍, you can miss much of the impression otherwise😉 Obviously, I Speak Astronomy, Ape, Sit Stay Roll Over by Jinjer may be next. From a completely another music style - pop - you can check out Sinful Passion, live in New Wave by Dimash Kudaibergen.

IMHO you are one of the best new appearances in the the reaction YT-world over a long time. I like your attitude, include that you let a video like the "special" one from yesterday just online, this, paired with your honesty about your panic, gives a huge feeling of a real authentic guy. Together with your definitely wider angle of view in your reactions than a lot of other reactors makes it fun to watch your videos. Jinjer reactions are the perfect example for this, like I wrote to your first reaction to Pisces - I like that you see "the whole thing" - most are so tunnelvisioned into Tatis craziness that they dont notice that the other three have the same level of skill on there instruments like she has on the vocals. Little story to Jinjer live related to your mentioning of there live energy : I saw them in November here in Berlin and they were the main band, it was an around 600 people club concert. There were three bands before, good til pretty good (I have to mention that I am not a real metalhead, just somebody who hears nearly every style of music and is open minded to new things - like Jinjer was for me) and it was a nice concert so far. Then, not far away from midnight Jinjer entered the stage and it was unbelievable how! They were a complete other level of power on stage than with the bands before, even for me much more thrilling than I expected. It was for sure one of the best concerts I have seen and there are a LOT! BTW - did you looked the playlist from Eugene playthroughs I linked you in the comments for Pisces? To give you something to react between your Jinjer highlights: take a look for "The HU", maybe first the full produced vid of "Yuve Yuve Yu" (----> ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-v4xZUr0BEfE.html ) - they are also something special - a Mongolian "metal" band... Glad you enjoyed it, Roman's outro is beautifully done. I love his tone. My suggestions: Teacher, Teacher, very popular for a reason. Heavy, progressive and with deep lyrics. Live footage with studio sound. Judgment & Punishment is fab, official video very entertaining, recent live version also good. Perennial, very moving, official video is beautifully shot and the live version is impressive. I'd watch the video first though, for context. I Speak Astronomy, very catchy riffs, nice video production, good range of vocal techniques (but the video really focuses on Tatiana to the exclusion of the rest of the band). Ape will blow your socks off. Short, hard, very progressive. Cloud Factory - older but absolutely rocks. Good environmental message. Sit, Stay, Roll Over - older but very aggressive - all about freedom and control. Outlander - ancient but great, featuring a 5-piece version of the band. The failure.color version is live footage with studio sound. That should keep you busy for a while!

Fun reaction. Such a classic song from them. Judgement & Punishment is epic - I really like the live in Melbourne video. Pit Of Consciousness live in Kiev is epic too - most savage growls of anything they've released.

The outro switches to an almost Reggae tune

This has become one of my favorite bands very quickly over the last year or so. But you mentioning that you are a bassist, this is the one I really wanted you to hear. It’s pretty killer. But don’t stop here. definitely do not stop here. everyone in this band is so good. I am so freaking glad that this stuff exists. So much good stuff out there. Everywhere!

Guitar tone is coming from a mesa rectifier tho he’s recently converted just using a helix with the onboard amp sims and a coffee cabs 2x12. This tone is more of the “old school djent” vibe, emg pickups and a tube screamer. So early slipknot, periphery, all have that slightly pushed mids and tight low feel.

This whole band commands the attention of the crowd. I was supposed to shoot them (photos) this summer, but COVID effed me over. Keep it up man! I subbed!

The full and deep guitar tone is due to Roman using relatively heavy strings tuned down to drop A. Slipknot uses similar tuning on a bunch of their songs(drop A and drop B).
