You are wrong here. Rahmat Ali, Allama Iqbali etc. were pawns. The real power was of Muslim Zamindars, Nawabs and Muslim Kings. These royal people were afraid of Congress' promise of breaking the Zamindar system. That is why such Zamindars, taking the cover of Islam, demanded to separate Pakistan from India. They felt that Hindu Zamindars, Kings, Maharajas supported Congress' policy. They did not mind giving up their monarchy for the benefit of the country. But Muslim elites could not do this. And as a lawyer, they brought forward Muhammad Ali Jheena as the main person. Today see, Zamindars and Vadhers are in power in Pakistan. All politics is in their hands.
