Jinwoo is not to be messed with! Check out our Reaction to Solo Leveling Episode 6. PATREON: / struckbybelz TWITTER: / struckbybelz INSTAGRAM: / struckbybelz Edited by: Avachs #struckbybelz #Sololeveling #Anime
If you remember well everytime Jinwoo finishes his daily quests he has a "full recovery" in the last episode he ran 10 miles to the gate and didn't have the oportunity to claim his rewards.
Jinwoo really did bro like how Ichigo did Aizen. This adaptation has been amazing, and Suwanoo continues to kill with the ost. Well deserved for the manhwa that inspired so many others!
“Jinwoo’s gotta report these guys after he’s done with that spider”. What an utterly wholesome thought we all had at the beginning of this episode until we fully realized the direction this anime was taking. CINEMA
People act like shonen is for kids hours. Naruto by 30 chapters had a dude crucified on a pole arms cut off, chainsawman has dudes getting sliced apart, demonslayer has plenty of heroes losing limbs, one piece has slavery, jjk has torsos and that’s it. It buy US movie standards most shonen are R rated and US cries if they watch R rated and it has something taboo on screen lol.
@@nichescenes My point is usually in a Shonen the MAIN character makes the “good” decision and is usually not killing other humans. Might kill demons, monsters, spirits, etc but not humans. By those standards this show is on a different level since the choices of the main character are unpredictable. In a Shonen, Jinwoo would’ve found a way to defeat them and not kill them. That’s what I mean.
Okay gotcha. Yeah to be fair other shonen do have mains kill but they do it in a way where its well deserved (or justified in story even if its not) or in a way where they still seem heroic. Naruto kills Yūra, and even if kakashi finished off an askaski member naruto's initial attack would have killed a normal human 3 times over. Luffy killed someone (recent arc so i wont spoil) if were to believe or they dont come back. Black clover asta kills a bunch. Chainsawman did it a few times, etc. But yeah this is different, this is more AOT sorta, plain out human taking another human violently and without hesitation for the most part and no dramatic reasoning or thrown into a exploding building so the building did it sorta thing. So i agree with ya a bit. @@mackleven7
Yeah i guess its hard to sell a protag in shonen that does this. Its why im guessing they waited so long till this episode and how their hoping people are hooked by the story and animation and wont drop. People tend to drop if they dont love the mains or think their not heroic.@@mackleven7
Not gonna lie, I understand what your talking about in terms of the morals, but I atleast respect that this anime has a protagonist that seems much realistic in these messed up situations, not all the time we are going to need a naruto or thorfinn protagonist that teaches us violence is wrong 😂😂
U clearly didn’t understand anything about Thorfinn and the overall message of Vinland Saga if that’s the conclusion you came to lol Thorfinn never said that violence is wrong but he stressed on the idea of unnecessary violence being a wrong thing when some things can be solved without using violence and it’s not like he preached to everybody who he met and said that violence is wrong or the “nobody has enemies” line it’s more of his personal beliefs rather than believing everyone to be like that cuz we all know violence and war are a part of human nature.
If anything he’s mostly just pissed off that he, of all people, forgot how shitty people can be. He’s like, “really? _I_ forgot? After all that shit I went through I still didn’t expect the worst out of people? What’s wrong with me?”
Can't wait until (eventually) Omniscient Reader is done as an anime. The reason manhwa-based anime hits different is that Korean stories have a different basis from the Japanese ones: in Japanese stories, isekai is a single person being transported to a parallel world; in the Korean ones, the present-day WORLD is invaded by magical elements from parallel worlds. This allows these stories to examine how humans react and change to such a radical shift in reality. We get to see the real dark side of humanity.
I've read the manwha and still got goosebumps watching this episode , perfect in every way, watching other peoples' reaction is as gratifying as watching the show itself, good stuff guys, can t wait for future reactions, Solo Leveling is epic and it never ceases to surprise you
@16:20 Yea, if not for the quest he wouldn't have killed them. It said his heart would stop as the penalty for not doing it. So it was kill or be killed.
Actually no. The quest didn't say his heart would stop, that just how he saw it. That's why the text changed. Because it was no different. The quest didn't actually tell him to kill them, in those words. He just realized what world he was in, and started acting like it.
@@DmonHiro I replayed that 3 times. It said that. If I could screenshot and show you I would....lol. in the manwha it didn't say that. But it says it here for sure. It changed to that. Now I don't have the novel knowledge, but is it explained in the novel that he subconsciously read it as his heart will stop? Because that isn't clear in the other mediums.
@@DmonHiroit said that in the manhwa. And it will happen again when a certain people wants to kill jinwoo... So basically the system can detect threats for him
@@teejay10238it also said his heart will stop if he doesn’t kill them in the manhwa. When he was sparring against the top 1 s rank Japanese hunter and was toying with him the Japanese hunter gets mad and shows his killing intent wich jinwo says he can’t let this fight go on as the system will see him as a threat and do the the your heart will stop until you get rid of the threat.
I'm so pissed that people are NOW praising A1 PICTURES, these guys literally did, kaguya, 86, fate strange fake, seven deadly sins s1 and s2, they were always built differently 😂😂
Hope i don't seem like a nerd emoji here, but this isn't rage as much as it is sad. The innocent jinwoo who could barely kill MONSTERS just killed other humans. It's not the fact that the bad guys DIED but rather that he himself killed other human beings. This entire scene is him gaslighting himself into killing them and justifying it for himself so he can survive the system's penalty of his heart stopping Surprisingly, Jinwoo's characterization is deeper than most people think it is
This is what I like in this anime, ever since the double dungeon his mindset is changing . After all that happened to him it actually makes sense. Also, if you notice in the ending while its raining, it is just showing that he may lose part of his morality but he is still a kind big brother 😊
If you guys were confused about the full recovery he got it as a reward in the last couple episodes and he got one this ep at the end he can use them whenever 💯👋
You two forgot. Jinwoo told Jinho to “do nothing”. That is why Jinho is doing just that. This and he is in shuck and awe of Jinwoo. No E rank moves this way.
Fun Fact: That was 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001 % of his power compared to later chapters
Go gun hee's shares the same va with netero from hxh 2011 , the 2nd one tho cuz his original va died, he replaced him during the near end of the chimera ant arc he also voices nakiri erina's grandfather and a lot of other well known characters
at first i didn't realize it cause it just say's "defeat the enemy" and not "kill " but it looks like the choice was ether kill the 6 enemy's or your heart stops that made him realize the system uses him as much as he uses it
As a non manhwa reader, I wonder how many times will the system and jinwoo collapse in disagreement. I think he accepted pretty easy that he needed to kill all of them because they were a threat, but what if the system said he needed to kill every single one of them including Yoo Jinho? I guess at that point he wasn't a threat and the system didn't take it in account, but it could think (the system) that no witness were the best way to "save him" and guarantee survival.
What generally happens when the System wants Jinwoo to do something and he's resisting is that it threatens to kill him. It isn't as clear as it could be (so far at least) in the anime, but IIRC in the manhwa he initially doesn't want to kill them and the 'appropriate penalty' section of the quest alert changes to 'if you fail this quest, your heart will stop'. Important quests generally have some kind of 'or else' footnote on them. That's why he's saying the system wants/needs him alive, it'll apply as much threat as it needs to in order for him to advance/survive if he's refusing to take action on his own.
fun fact: the japanese voice actor from the boss of the hunter association, is the same as Netero, so it's the boss of the hunters for the second time XD
I'm glad you guys get it. Some people still don't understand his character progression and it is because he does have alot of hatred at heart but not the type to go out of his way to hurt or kill unless it's needed
4:45 the recovery came from his daily quest as you can see in the previous episode when he arrived at the entrance of the dungeon he didn't receive the rewards from it and got interrupted by the goons calling him out.
Yall my favorite reaction team lol I never really comment but I’ve been watchin yall for a min I remember watching yall when black clover was gettin hella hate and those eps was straight gas!! So happy to see yall at it still
He was levelling up as he took them out. Each time he levels up he full restores. Theres just something so morbid about harvesting xp from killing people.
Haha i see literally no appreciation for the animators so ill give the appreciation they deserve! Keep it up a-1 pictures, best piece if animation you've created till now.. Things gonna level up from now on!❤❤
When he finished his daily quest/mission. He doesn't automatically need/have to accept. He can pick and choose when to accept the rewards. Like this episode he would've gotten clapped if he would have accepted it before entering this dungeon. Nice thing to have handy the full recovery and he can input the stats like if he's losing in speed he can put them in speed and it just jumped up by 3 or strength or vitality and he auto heals by that much.
At the end. The guy in the building is indeed is brother. Hes in a big guild in the US. In the manhwa he wake up and say : "What a dream... Hows it in Korea, why I am crying ?" Dunno why they dont put it in
@@MaGiiKTzM Remember, they are adapting the Ln not the Manhwa so obviously there are some changes because manhwa is not complete and the studio also adds somethings
Yea eversince he got betrayed in that temple when he was getting pummeled you can feel his anger and wrath in his monologs. Just like you said. Feels like its only getting darker.
It's like what jinwoo said, the system wants him alive! So, if anyone wants to kill him(the player), the system will register those things no matter monster or human as enemies and generate a quest for jinwoo to kill them to survive. So, in the future jinwoo have to watch who he fights with, otherwise if the system registers them as enemies, even if they were sparring for practice, he has to kill them to complete the quest.
It surprised me when you mentioned the fact that Jinwoo has shown flashes of true hate. I’ve read the entire series and I never realized the slow buildup to this episode. Very nice catch!
Did you notice the system changed when sung jinwoo hit with the magic ball? it changed the penalty from appropriate penalty to the users heart will stop when he got pissed.
after finishing the daily quest he gets an ability, +10 skill points, or full recovery, i dont exactly remember but he may have completed the 10km part of the quest to get full recovery or he hadnt gotten his reward for the daily quest, one of the two
Jin Woo (correct name depiction in Korean) does not hate, he has come to the conclusion that you have to give what you get. The betrayal at the temple, and all the people talking down to him even though he has been giving it his all to take care of his family. he will help people, ignore people, or kill people to his sense of justice and this is why he is what is known as an Antihero. If you want to see what he is thinking you should read the light novel it goes in to more detail than the manhwa.
He don't have a hatred towards the world. He has a hatred towards the evil people who keep doing shady stuff and doing him wrong just because he's an E rank. Which is true.
