I understand that feeling. A very well written animated origin story. The good thing is Jinx as a fictional character is what you want her to be. She can be that bubbly girl from earlier cinematics or she can be beaten girl from the TV show. And the fact you want to give her a hug says something good about you. The good thing is that that character is a fictional one, but she is so well written that we feel she is real. When you play tabletop role playing games, you can take a Battletech tabletop game about giant robot combat and mix it with Conan the barbarian tabletop game and create your own adventure. You can make Conan to be whatever you want to be, and you can make him a pilot of a giant robot. In role playing you can create your own house rules. Normally RPG games have their own lore, but you can change it when playing at home. In the same fashion, in a multiplayer online game, you can change Jinx to be what you want her to be. You can imagine she is that cheerful bubbly girl next door who has a group of friends from alternate universes. The TV show must have been influenced by the European origin of the animation. Europe not so long ago had a devastating war, and that shows in the initial bridge scene. Europe also had moments of extreme filthy poverty and that shows up in how Zaun is presented. And it had Marie Antoinette luxury which seems to have been attacked by Jinx Fishbones in episode 9. If you see anime, you see some similar past influences. The original Godzilla was a symbol of nuclear radioactivity, hunting down and killing those who it crosses paths with, like a monster terminator. Radiation generates strong feelings among Japanese as it is part of Japan's past. And from radioactive monsters they moved to giant anime mecha. So Jinx history as portrayed shows more the background cultural influence of those who wrote the story. I am just happy you want to give her a hug, as you are capable of loving people. The good news is that she is a fictional character, so the suffering had dramatic purposes, like a modern theatrical play in a French theater.

Yeah the creative direction / design, lore and marketing team at League are a bunch of geniuses that should be basically given a swimming pool of money every year for how they have progressed the brand. I have never played this game in my life but have been following the visual releases on youtube for years and was obviously knocked the f out by Arcane. . This is not normal. No one else has succeeded like this regardless of whether they had more money or not.

League already had lore before arcane, and not just piltover and Zaun but also Ionia, Noxus, demacia, targon, shurima, freljord, etc.

***** I would upgrade attack speed alongside AD and critical chance. However, she doesn't need AS until later on as increases AS by default, allowing for better items for damage, critical chance and movement speed.

Not sure how that's bad, with ad, crit and attack speed, I can 3 shot all champs not stacking armour, and if I am up against a tank, my last item I buy is last whisper as the 35% armour pen is good enough to take them down pretty quickly, just keep your distance as you have little to no escapability
