He’s not acting. He follows the bushido code, he read the book of five rings, in rizin they called him the Czech Samurai. Him swinging his Katana around is a Japanese martial art called Kenjutsu, which he also practices. If he was born in the samurai era 100% he would’ve been one of the many foreign samurai.
when the world is sad millennial robots that they start comparing "Samurai" with ANY of these "fighters" cause they are truly ignorant millennials that don't even know wtf a "Samurai" truly was. n that's WHY they are making that comparison. gotta love trash a** 2023 and onwards. trash millennials and -IQ logic bout to take over this world. watch out everyone! Entering a future of braindead Millennial trash robots. 🤦
@@despondentzoomer case and point. ignorant (most likely American) that knows absolutely NOTHING about "Samurai" if that was even anywhere slightly true (following the "code" and all that) he wouldn't be competing. so once again, shows your TRUE ignorance on the subject and what "Samurai" truly were. go back to watching "the last samurai" featuring tom cruise, that's about the extent of your "knowledge" f'en robot.
pause at 6:57 there's no fucking way jiris reach is 80 inches lmfao his arms are smaller than pereiras and his shoulder width is clearly not enough to make such a difference
You can’t determine his reach off this photo, Alex is in more of his fighting stance and prolly gauging distance where as jiri is standing more square which is why his arms look smaller
Aspinall has literally never gone to a decision. Sergei has knocked out his last 6 opponents in the first round. Periera has 27 Career Knockouts. Jiri has won over 96% of his wins by either knockout or submission. This might be the best main/co-main card ever.
@HassanLoukili-ke1tq Did you know Muslims are going straight to hell because they’re Muslim. I think you should consider changing your religion to get accepted to heaven.

@@kanethesevenfootmonster868 Stop....with the absolute hyperbolic nonsense. This is the greatest fight of all time.....in 30 years of the sport? There's been 8000 UFC fights but this is the best one? Talk about hyperbole

You know what's really funny? The fact that you're subscribed to 3 chess channels, A nonce skateboarders channel and last but not least "DarkstepWarrior" 💀LMFAO🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😭@@Templercz
Joe looked terrified of Jiri. 😂😂 And the faceoff between Jiri and Pereira is easily the most intense staredown I've seen in my life. It's blowing mind to see my absolute two favorite fighters ever squaring up. 😱

Man the fact that Jiri is back and hungry for the belt after the recovery, the discipline, the patience to come back is facing a dominant warrior Pereira and the determination to avenge his friend Glover. This fight going to be a great one possibly fight of the year! 💯💯💯
He has weird freakish genenetics for recovery that's for sure. He recovers a lot from dehydration, he recovers a lot in between rounds, he didn't even use to diet properly until a few years ago, that guy is gifted
damn you can see the state of mind switch on Jiri and Poatan, you can see how they're in that ready for war mood being this close to fight night compared to how they've acted throughout fight week, can't fuckin wait!
Man, is surprising how natural Jiri looks. Sometimes in stare downs fighters tend to try to look intimidating or they cant pretended and they seem tense. I know this does not make any difference in the outcome of the fight, but being that loose in front of that caliber of a fighter such as Pereira called my attention.
Its his 34th fight and he is only 30. And Idk how many muay thai fights, he was a Czech champion. He knows nothing but fighting. He is monster yes, samurai or whatever yes but more than anything he is a profesional. He can stare into the soul of anyone.
@@martinasrna1108 I agree he is in his element without a doubt, but not only that is not the fact that he tries to stare into someone's soul, but more than the calmness in him. Feels like whatever you throw at him doesn't make him flinch. And that's saying a lot being in front of someone with Alex credentials and coming from an injury. Hyped for this fight.
Natural? Nothing about Jiri's body language is natural when he walks in. The guy walks as if he thinks his a character. I really like him, but he tries too hard sometimes
@@R9000SAlex isn’t a 185r lol just cause he made weight doesn’t mean that’s what he is naturally. Both these guys are easily 225+ pounds on fight night
@@R9000S sure, but you make it sound like that’s his natural weight class. Alex is a 185 in the sense he makes weight for a day but otherwise dude walks at a consistent 220+ someone like Strickland is a natural 185

That staredown was really fucking intense. I expect a war, but something tells me Alex Pereira is going to land something stupid big late to end it. I really like both guys, but I just think it is Pereira's time at light heavy
I think this could potentially be one of the best fights not only of the year, but possibly the decade… much better than when Glover fought Jiri because of glovers agent, just possibly his agility as great as he is in, as much as I’d appreciate & rock with him the fact remains that these two guys are closer in age, and are both very dangerous, skilled and different fighters.. I also find it surprising that most people think Alex will win when I think the match will be much closer than people think and it could end with a unorthodox knockout or submission but I think a lot of people are underestimating the Champ Jiri I like both of you guys are the most dangerous guys… but in all fairness, if Israel Adesanya can knock ✊🏼 Alex out then about how Jiri violently ended/finished a guy who at one time gave John Jones, who is the suppose it goat 🐐 not only a competitive match up, and make sure that John Jones had to pack a big lunch
TO BE FAIR, I'm sure Pereira's chin was heavily compromised at MW due to the massive weight cut. Like, if you forced Jiri to fight at MW I'm sure he'd be able to get KO'd by MW punches too. Heck, if you forced Cormier to fight at MW he'd be almost at death's door and even a LW could KO him.
@@forzacavaliere - I don’t know about that whole to be fair Part but yeah, regardless I think people are underestimating or disrespecting Jiri either intentionally or unintentionally. And just so I can be clear on this I’m not being biased at all because I like both these dudes a lot and I’d be rooting for Alex if he were fighting anyone else except for this matchup. I don’t know how anyone could not like or more importantly not respect either of these dudes

Bro Yiri and Alex face off was so hype. I'm so hype for the Dern, Aspinal, and Yiri. I like all 6 fighter in the last 3 main card though. Kinda torn between Alex and Jiri but Jiri deserves it more imo.
@austypebbles na, Jiri never lost the belt.. in my opinion, that's still his belt. And to come back after such a bad shoulder injury so soon. Especially after that war with Glover. I like Alex though and won't be upset if he wins. They're both awesome.
I'm loving the whole hype around this fight. Its not about some out of the ring antics and wanting to see someone lose because we don't like them. It looks like everybody genuinely roots for both fighters and just wanna see combat.
This is like the "Deadlist warrior" tv show. Samurai vs NativeAmerican!!!! Two true warriors, no trash talk. Just respect each other and fighting for honour and glory. This will be incrediblee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jiri and Alex woooo this might be the closest thing we ever get to a real life MORTAL KOMBAT fight this is the fight the world didn't realize we needed I'm super excited for this one dammmm LETS GO CANT WAIT 2 KILLERS RT HERE
What does that mean? Jiri has been finished more than Alex and he's been hurt in all his fights in the ufc apart from Oezdimir. I'm a fan of both fighters but Jiri can not afford to be reckless and get hit like his previous fights. This is Poatan we're talking about.
I saw a post in Facebook about this match that basically says "instead of walking them into the octagon to fight, they should give them their sword and bow and let them hunt each other down in the MSG" 😂😂😂
