@c.m.654 I just rewatched that episode yesterday . It would have been good if Cho had a love interest throughout the show. I love his (dry humor.). Like when just passing thru the room Cho told Rigsby he is going to die alone! I don't know much about my tv, so it's stuck on the mentalist 24/7. Needless to say I have a lot of the show memorized. What a well written and acted show. Think how many fans the show would have had if they hadn't been pushed around from day to day, and time to time. You'd have to be looking for the show to watch it. What a shame. It's still great and funny where it needs to be. Where's our mentalist 2.0? I know we would have to pull Simon off a surfboard, pay him a lot, then beg him to do it, then it's still a dream. Sometimes dreams do come true.

I still laugh at the flashback episode when we see Jane join the cbi, how the next morning Lisbon looks at his sweet sleepy face and is like "everyone shhh, shh he's asleep, we will uphold the law in SILENCE today so he can sleep"...and now she kicks his chair, flick his nose, lays on her car horn ..

The writers of the show thought they had more time so played it slow. When they realized it was their last season they gave what the audience wanted. But I agree kinda, they waited too long. Although as a couple dynamics change a lot, I don't know how it would affect the show tbh.

People don’t see them together? That’s a thing? 1. They’re obviously in love it’s just the show was fun and cool enough to keep it subtle and light - the focus wasn’t Jisbon romance but cases, team work, friendship and Red John. The romance would have detracted (as the Rigsby and Van Pelt romance did at times from how melodramatic it was). 2. They got together in the end - they’re literally canon. We saw them dating in the last season. 3. They have fucking great chemistry. They’re perfect for each other. Like what?!

@@dawnmayflower4422 You've obviously not hung around a lot of these videos/clips or gone on discussion boards. There are a lot of people who saw no chemistry, or even say the writers rushed them after RJ with no buildup. It's scary.

@@bluerose3262 Someone mentioned their theory on why that is and I think it has a lot of merit. They said people are used to seeing romantic relationships on screen being sexual, like Rigsby and Grace, so when it's presented differently, they don't recognize it at all.
