Thats the one thing I get jealous of in the past. People who used to go to the Disco get this look in their eye of wistfulness and then pity you cuz it was once in a lifetime to witness, you had to be there!

I think they both did really well! The song is up beat, so her sharp and quick movements makes the music even more exciting. However, the song also feels relaxed and chill, so his flowy and smoother movements accentuate that. (I’m not a dancer, but I do take a sport similar to it, so my vocab is limited but I can see the difference in their movements)
Yeah, I just made a similar comment, but the contrast between the two was negative in my eyes. Interesting how two different people can see the same thing from very different view points. I saw her moves as too sharp, hitting all the right moves but his relaxed not so precise movements made her seem over precise....apologies for the lack in vocabulary as well.
This is my favorite kind of dancing. Not even the style itself (although the dance was rlly cute) it’s just that I LOVE when I see people genuinely having fun while dancing. It gives me happy feelings:,)

They interpreted the sound so well in their movements! Almost to the point where if done without the music, you could still guess what song it was choreographed to. And they looked so happy! Amazing duo

I'm an old man and one of my favorite things is just to watch young people having fun and enjoying themselves, and these 2 seemed to be having a blast. And the song itself is enough to put a smile on one's face.

There used to be this thing called Soul Train and these couples would dance down a line the way this couple did to this kind of music and they would broadcast their positive dance vibes to the world through this thing called a television.
That's why i love the local hiphop/soul parties, there will always be a soul train and everybody on the dancefloor is invited to participate no matter how good they can dance! It's so much fun!
America is more wholesome than it's media portrays it to be tbh. Its been wholesome since the 80s/90s and early 2000s. Everyone seems to have forgotten about how those days were :(

The wholesomeness we knew so well in older times? That's forgotten. The late 80s-90s saw a movement of acceptance and diversity that is overlooked and taken for granted. As a child in a minority I felt accepted and represented growing up with that. Today we pretend those days didn't happen. As a kid I grew up between Australia, America and my third world home (I'm southeast Asian). I would say America in those early days practiced far more community, diversity and acceptance than Australia and the third world. Australia was not kind to immigrants in the early 2000s and I found I was more at home in America in these times. Don't hate yourselves and your culture because your media tells you to. You guys adopted attitudes of acceptance and multicultural appreciation that the many in the rest of the world followed. Now the rest of the world tells you the opposite, but don't let them.
