On Thursday, July 25 at 7:00 PM, all roads lead to the Emancipation Park, Kingston for an open conversation on the recommendation of the Constitutional Reform Committee and other matters, on the #RoadToRepublic.
The islandwide town halls are part of the public education process for Jamaica’s constitutional reform, which involves transitioning from a Constitutional Monarchy to a Republic.
The Jamaica Information Service(JIS) is aimed at reporting up to date factual Government News for Jamaican Citizens here and abroad. We have packaged it into the Jamaica Magazine and JIS News along with other features. One of the reason way Jamaica progress is so slow, is because we're so cantankeruous and disingenuous! I can see through many of the people who are asking question; they are not asking question in good faith, it's a delay tatic by the opposition who send these misfit there. They don't want this Government to move forward with the reform. The world is watching and maybe wondering what kind of people are we. People in other country are saying positive thing about the current Government of Jamaica however, the media and opposition in Jamaica is all about mud slinging and character assassination; it's as if it's ok, to lie and distroy fellow Jamaican character, who is acturally working hard for the people of Jamaica! These low life don't care about Jamaica, just power...
