Jiu Jie Bian ( Nine section chaii whip) belongs to the so-called soft (flexible) weapons. And it is not so easy to master fighting movements with its help. The flexibility of the chain makes it difficult for beginners to control its movements. For this reason, when practising with the Nine section chain whip, great care must be taken not to injure yourself or those around you.
Movements with the use of Jiu Jie Bian are often rotary movements using the centrifugal force which concentrates a very strong force at the end of the chain.
