The semiotic value of the EP image is incredible. At the center, St jiub is portrayed carrying a sword on his right hand, and pointing the index finger on the other. At his right, a cliff racer is portrayed. The proximity between the monster and the blade represents Jiub's task and act of heroism that made him deserving of the saint status: eradicating the winged menace from Vvanderfell. At his left, Lord Vivec is portrayed, reaching for Jiub's index finger with his own. This is an evident reference to Michelangelo's painting "The Creation of Adam", but also represents the divine touch that transformed Jiub the man into Jiub the saint. Jiub's whole story contained in a single image. Very good.

I'm proud about thinking waaay too deep about this, but Balmora Blue is kinda sad and has gotta have a proper meaning to it. Jiub says "King of the Underworld, MY blood Balmora Blue" I'm pretty sure he means King of the Soul Cairn, but he still talks about his roots in Balmora, and if you think about it, Jiub can never see balmora ever again because he's trapped. Kinda sad

It's not the incredible wordplay, the fantastic production, or the 10/10 lore references that's my favorite part of this album.. it's the sheer aggression and confidence with which Jiub says "On the streets, I'm ROCK hard".

Young scrolls is fucking ridiculous, honestly. When you factor in the beats, the lore, the double meanings and fantastic lyrics and references while also remembering that he only has a certain amount of lines to even work with in the first place, and the amount of editing that has to go into simply cutting that shit up (without even mentioning having to know of/remember all these lines and think about how to rearrange them in the first place) and you just have something that is too good for us. It's really blessings on blessings on blessings.
