The first time i heard this song i was in San Antonio in the hospital.I had had a kidney transplant three weeks earlier and i started having problems with it.I was there in my room alone 2 days till Christmas crying listening to this song.Everybody was praying for me back home and thank God my kidney function went back up.Thank you Jesus.Its almost going to be a year now and im doing good.Awesome song. God Bless

If I fall, He falls with me, if I hurt, He feels it too.. we may have different interpretations of this song but this really did remind me that my God knows me so much that He'd feel the same way I do in all circumstances I go through. Linnet, Ive been broken and I know this is harsh but I didn't want to love God anymore. He patiently waited for me to come to my senses and could see more clearly and showed through several special people how he answered my pleas. He is awesome and mighty. I am small and it was hard for me to see but he loves me in all my brokenness. Today I dont run from him. Today I embrace his love for me. xena True love does exist, but it's not about how they treat you, but rather how you treat them, even if it's one sided. This quote was an eye opener for me. "Love is a precious gift, which we receive from Jesus. Pure and holy affection is not a feeling, but a principle. Those who are actuated by true love are neither unreasonable nor blind. Taught by the Holy Spirit, they love God supremely, and their neighbor as themselves." {MYP 435.1} - EGW True love is a choice made constantly over time. It is something you can choose to give regardless of the consequences, not just something you receive from another human being. It can be difficult to explain, which is probably why so many people don't really know what love is or that it's even possible to have it. Hmm, I suppose love can be summarized as the opposite of selfishness. Which brings me to the verse that Pierre tried to send. ;) 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 (NKJV) "Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails..." One who acts out of selfishness cannot be all these things. This is not to say that one can't be loving and still have moments of selfishness. Those are the times when we are to love them inspite of themselves, just as God loves us inspite of our flaws. I could ramble on, but I don't want to wear out the readers. :P

I think of my sister when I hear this song. She recently fell away from her faith and it's been one of the most difficult things I've ever had to witness. Breaks my heart. But when I hear this song I'm reminded that God will never let go of her, and that "beauty and light" will fight for her. It gives me hope and it helps me stay strong for her.

Ms. Heller, I stumbled across your music. It is 1:44am as I type this. You see, I recently returned to Korea from burying my father. I feel empty and broken -hearted. Now both of my parents are gone. we are loved no matter what we do , so in the same , we should love and forgive even those who have hurt us most, we never know what has spiritually mislead them or us at times , so if we want forgiveness we should give forgiveness， even to the worst enemy. Why the Word says to love our enemies. Not allow it, but take the tribulations as joy as a learning experience on what not to do and help others. If Love endures all things, then we too should endure all things if we are calling ourselves Christian, we endure all things and love each other , even our enemies . Never boasting but loving at all times. Leaning not on our own understanding but on the Father's. My ways are trash, but His ways are everything. I'm sinful, but he is holy, so why would we want our ways . Praying for God's Will in our own lives just like Christ did on Earth is our perfect example on what to do in distress .
