who's going around after finishing the season watching jj and kie fan videos, waiting for the time to pass so we can maybe hopefully get what we want in season 2? it's only going to be like a year and a half, no biggie... fml
Tbh I don’t really want them to end up together in season 2. I would want for it not to just be rushed and for it to just form into a natural relationship. I would want them to get together later on like season 3 just so we can see their friendship turn into something real
what's hard about the entire situation is that pope is genuinely a sweet, kind and gentle guy who did nothing wrong and he'd deserve to be with kie, if she was with john b it'd be easier instead 'cause he isn't interested of her and didn't give her an explanation for the kiss and they just left the argument at a point in the season (i know there were more urgent plot situations to deal with but leaving it like that is not good, plus he lied to her about being with sarah and i guess having kissed her before she couldn't understand where that came from??) he was not right about some things, that is why i'd love to see jj and her together, he's protective, always ready to defend her and her dignity even tho she is a kook, which is kinda relevant considering the rivalry that exists between the two tribes, and she's showed through little actions but important ones that she's do anything to protect him too, like when during fights she'd step over for him, i love them, their relationship is cute and if they stayed friends it'd be a lost opportunity i think, i'm always falling hard for tv couples it is my biggest condemnation ...
@@gt4436 i think she kissed him out of regret for how she made him feel by rejecting him, and it is totally reasonable, but it seemed quite clear she didn't have FEELINGS for him, she's not into him...god let's hope the writers won't go there
@@angelassinging I agree that she might have kissed him only because she felt bad for him, but still, even though it really breaks my heart, I don't think she'll end up with JJ (another fear of mine is that she could be lesbian) but generally JJ is really fucked up, not just because of his family life and all that, but he also takes way too much drugs and steals and does other delinquent stuff, I feel as if the writers wouldn't see him as "boyfriend material", at least with Kie. Not just that, but everything the cast has said about the ships in obx: Chase Stokes said there's like two love triangles: Pope, Kie and John B, and Sarah, John B and Kie. He didn't mention JJ in any moment. Also, in an interview with the cast they asked them what their thoughts were on ships, and they said they felt Pope and Kiara were gonna be shipped and Sarah and JB would probably never end up together. Then they said that JJ was the one left to find love. I think all that is because the writers haven't hinted anything about JJ and Kie's relationship which probably means they're definitely not considering it.
@@angelassinging also Chase wrote in an ig story that he got that we shipped JJ and Kie, but that Barry x Rafe is the true ship, meaning that they're both crackships that aren't gonna happen. I'm almost crying lmao, I hope I'm just being too pessimistic, I guess we'll know in almost two years...

If the goddamn covid situation stabilizes in months we could have season two next year, not at the beginning maybe but it could be in the middle of it, anyway, JJ and Kie weren't scripted as a couple in season 1, we got it, we weren't supposed to see them as a pairing or wanting them to be together, but considering that we're gonna have season two as a nearly sure thing (GOD THEY ARE WRITING IT WE JUST GOTTA HOPE FUCKING NETFLIX RENEWS IT) they could reschedule the situations, rethink about the relationships, they could do anything! What I mean is even though they weren't supposed to be a couple it doesn't mean that they never could in future seasons, 'cause if the writers acknowledge their potential (and why not our positive response to it) they could easily make it real Damn, life is exhausting already, it would be nice to have some fantasy wishes to be real...
I think they shouldn’t rush into JJ and Kie immediately into the second season. Even Rudy himself the guy who plays JJ says he think it would be better to focus on rebuilding the friendship of the pouges now that they have sort of split for season 2. I think season 3 they should start to show feelings for one another. Also I think they should wait just so it doesn’t look like Kie is just going from guy to guy.
The sad thing is that when JJ thought John be was into kie, he stepped back and even helped him get her. Then when John b was rejected, he saw pope was into her and stepped back again. Istfg JJ needs to be happy in season 2. Idgaf if it's with kiara or pope or someone else or no one at all, he NEEDS to be happy or I'm throwing hands.
