Was a mix of waterproof, waterresistant/waterproof here... Is the Pro waterproof ? 1:21 (proof) and 2:18 (resistant) Is the Go waterresistant ? 1:18, 2:14 (not) If it's waterresistant, will it survive rain but not being submerged ? Got a few more questions than answers after this video 😁 Especially since where I live there is a 60% chance of rain rather than sun when using it
I just received the GO timer. It could use better directions in manual as to how to turn it off. I like you added 2nd way to turn it off via firmware upgrade. A short video may help but those buying it need better directions in the box than I received. Sadly I will be returning it for a refund due to it having several scratches on the display screen. I could live with the smaller scratches that do not block the displayed elements but there is a large, deeper scratch over the lower left. If wonder if you could get someone to make screen protectors like the ones available for mobile phones. It did not appear to be a returned unit so maybe the screen was damaged during manufacturing.
We're working on a detailed manual, it will be available soon. We apologise for inconveniences. Please check if your timer has a film on a screen before returning. They come with a film on display and sometimes they get scratched in shipping and people think it's a glass itself.
@@shootersglobal Thank you. I thought it might have a film but it looked so good other than the few scratches I did not think there was a film. I had checked for a film but I could not detect the edge of the film and did not want to damage the screen. After your suggesting to remove the film I felt more at ease regarding being a little more aggressive in using my fingernail to find the edge and peel it up. I will cancel my return request. I think your product may be excellent but your documentation could be much better. I receive faster email response to my question regarding RO mode so I will email any future questions I may have. I have been recommending your GO timer to others on Reddit.
I run the TFI Academy firearms training. Do I need to film shooter in your app to have the times populate on the screen? Can I use my drills or do I have to use yours? Can I use the video with the times populating on a field course. Is there an option to take a video, and use it in a voice over video analysis to coach students? Thank you in advance.
Yes, you need to use Drills mobile app to film videos with shot data. You can use any drills, or do whatever you want, the app will just put shots on a video. No, you need to add voiceover in post production.
You mean for a smartphone? You can use something like this www.amazon.com/Sensyne-Extendable-Wireless-Compatible-Android/dp/B09TQY66NH/ref=sr_1_3?dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.HUo9IjBL-7bytdaaztM_ZbAADM0SGkxsxyoJ0LFs0ekGH1dOoSTf8qxUlY_FIOUTj7wSS8ATDA_tH5mu7sP3DGQE3sQWiOJgrORa8fj17-bGB2LWHY6Q6ouv8RsdUx3s8QOzfdQdS3UMpVPtuGqTnCxjPnPUDXbw55WzpFIkFfGRGQj08R_jZ4VjdSYHgXlo8IWKXPYJTkZVp_-97l89oSkY-H7cqlOhfwDwtrSntrs.c0M7Hji9UJ2opYzX7z2xmuS8vVO6VIbCstO0zs3b9xw&dib_tag=se&keywords=smartphone%2Btripod&qid=1710836067&sr=8-3&th=1
SG Timer GO relies more on the app for setup. On the timer itself you can just change presets and start/stop. For all other settings you need to use the app.
I don't want to write that it is a piece of crap, so I will write that the product has not been refined yet. no splits, shot times are shown from the last one, an error occurs when downloading new fitware to Android, it is impossible to remove the timer from the clip because the supplied strap blocks the release lever, when changing presets, the timer blocks and requires a restart.
Splits will be added in a firmware update very soon. Error downloading firmware has already been fixed. Impossible to remove the timer - we've never had this complaint to be honest. Please send a video of your problem to support@shooters.global. Everyone likes the clip so far. Timer blocks - again, please reach out to support. If it's a deffective timer, we will replace it.
You have probably put 2 velcro straps on the clip, therefore it's too wide and there's no space for the lever to move. There are 2 of them in the box, you need to separate them from each other before installing in a clip.
