JJ comes from the school of thought where any criticism of a player is at face value wrong and inappropriate, and that to compliment one player more than another shouldn't necessarily be zero sum game. Classic participation trophy mentality

I’m not even sure what JJ is even getting uptight about. Teams get outworked all the time. The better team doesn’t always win obviously or there would be no reason to watch. Felger brought up the Celtics vs Heat. There isn’t a single person on the planet who went into that series thinking the Heat were a better team on paper. And they did outwork the Celtics. Just listened to their June 6th show, and had to turn it off after just 1 minute. Mazz is once again trashing Tatum, what more does this guy need to do. Yes there should be scrutiny but when a team has 64 wins and has gone 12 and 2 in the playoffs your default position shouldn't be randomly trying to find things to s*** on!
