Ticket sells don’t mean anything. So many tickets are pre brought to just resell, but obviously they don’t always resell so nobody goes. Several teams have sold out tickets years in advance. I believe the cowboys are the biggest example. Thats why basically all events use ticketmaster and apps like that. They’re resellers, the original tickets get sold out immediately with big events. Edit: not all tickets get sold to those resellers though, just most. There are rules that prevent them from doing that. Depending on the event and size an X amount has to be sold by the organizer and an x amount has to be apart of a sweepstakes that’s usually how radio stations give them out.

Bro let's get real, the stadium is always halfway full it's been that way forever and when people do show up they stay outside telgating the whole game or they don't even get in they're seats till after halftime, it's the weirdest thing but it's probably cuz we have a bunch of fake fans here in Houston everyone wears they're battle red jerseys to work but they don't really watch the games or show up. Our fans honestly disgust me.

​@@Mike_G737the picture they showed was from the Cardinals game before kickoff. It wasn't the Jags game and wasn't during the game. People are still stuck in traffic or stuck in concession lines at that point. We're consistently averaging over 71K attendance for a 72K capacity stadium.

That's paid attendance, not actually asses in seats attendance. It's the season ticket holders that aren't showing up

@@hoodrat7 no the paid attendance was sold out but the tickets threw the door were 70k. I just talked to my season tickets rep. It was the high actual attendance in 2 seasons. I sent a pic to Pat of the Jags game. It was completely packed. If you were there you know. The Texans average in stadium attendance is still 9th in the league. Higher than many playoff teams.
