Why would Koichi doubt Jotaro's theory? This boy has only had his stand for like a month and acts like he knows more than the man that defeated an Englishman Vampire in Egypt.
He doesn't act like he knew more he just doubted Jotaro because he didn't see all the crazy shit Jotaro did. But look! Right afterward he learned his lesson, thought like Jotaro and saved them both. Notice how he never doubted Jotaro again after this episode? Cut him some slack.
He did, actually. In part 5, Jotaro tells Koichi to avoid Gionoro at all costs, and Koichi IMMEDIATELY BREAKS INTO HIS ROOM. That's just mad disrespect for Jotaro at that point.
Koichi: almost kills Jotaro due to him not listening to Jotaro’s orders Also Jotaro: Calls Koichi a reliable guy AND sends him to Italy rather than his Uncle Josuke
I always assumed that he wanted the job done discreetly, knowing that Koichi was not going to start a fight unless the target ran. Plus Koichi’s a smol boi, not likely to stand out. Josuke, on the other hand, would have been easily spotted from a mile away. And the target could easily throw off Josuke by insulting his hair. This isn’t what actually ended up happening, but Jotaro makes some questionable decisions throughout the series. It usually works out (until it doesn’t), but that’s because he’s a protagonist.
well, Koichi later sorta did save Jotaro's life by taking him out of the store. hadn't he done that, he would have been dead. he later definitely defeated SHA with act 3 and, when he had to face Kira and he was basically put in check because he couldn't use the three freeze on more than one object at once, he not only was clever enough to take Kira's driver's license to finally discover his name, but he even gained time and allowed Jotaro to regain consciusness just in time before Kira could blow up both him and Koichi. let's not also forget that hadnt it been for him, Kira could have activated bites the dust and rewind time.
+~LonelyMobb~ That's like questioning why Jotaro didn't rush over to Koichi in the stopped time. The simple answer is the animes always make it look longer than it is because talking is a free action. In actuality, Cell exploded the MOMENT Goku set foot on King Kai's world, he even said before Goku took him there that it was only a few seconds longer.
Lil Teek That didn't actually happen that way in the manga, if I'm remembering right. When he teleported Cell there, he exploded IMMEDIATELY. The anime just added that extra shit in, which made it look stupid.
*teleport* "Sorry, Kai-ousama, this was the only place I could think of quickly." *explosion* How was that talking for 5 minutes? Or did the anime make it a super-long speech?" Because it was one bubble in the manga.
Koichi: You know from experience? That's not logical at all! Jotaro: Koichi, have you ever seen a stand made of water that's powerful enough to rip a guy's head off and stuff it into a canteen? Koichi: Er.... n-no... Jotaro: I did, and it had an effective range slightly longer than 10 meters. So how's about you shut up and actually listen to me?
>Fought a Stand as big as a ship. >Fought a Stand that permanently attaches to his hand no matter the distance. >Fought a Stand that disguised itself as a whole town. >Fought a microscopic Stand that worked across a city. >Fought a Stand that was literally the Sun. >Fought a dream Stand. >Fought a Stand whose user was on shore while he was at the bottom of the sea. >Fought a Stand whose user was controlling it 4km away. >Fought a Stand that could freeze time and turn people into donuts permanently. Jotaro: I know from experience. Koichi: That’s not logical at all! Jotaro: ಠ_ಠ
so aparently koichi (whos had his stand for around a month (which also keeps changing forms)) now knows much more about stands than jotaro (whos had his stand for a decade and has faced against many stands head on including one that fucking stops time)).
Koichi wasn't technically wrong, at least I think so. Usually remote controlled stands wont damage the user at all but the user has very little to no influence on how the stand behaves. The example for this is Black Sabbath which is from Part 5 and will attack anyone who reignites the flame and anyone who is near by when the flame is reignited. Black Sabbath is defeated and Palpo (it's user) is completely unharmed, unlike Sheer Heart Attack which is actually a part of Killer Queen but is nigh indestructable and is completely autonomous. tl;dr Koichi is right but not because he actually knows anything about the stand but because he's just assumed that it wasn't remotely controlled.
Remote controlled isn't the same as long range. Lovers is a long range stand and acts how the user wants it, it's down side is that it passes on damage sustained to the user, same with Empress. Remote controlled is not long range, remote controlled means it has a actual requirement to attack a user, while long range is controlled by the user, at least that's what I'm assuming the difference is, we rarely see any kind of remote controlled stands and the only one that comes to mind is Black Sabbath and *maybe* Sheer Heart Attack. You could probably also make the argument that Bites the Dust is a form of remote controlled stand but meh.
Koichi: You know from experience? That is not logical at all! Because metal powers taking form of humans, cars, a freaking sun, etc. with abilities to stop time is very logical
Koichi didn't get to see all that. He had a bit of doubt but was immediately forced to learn his lesson and pick up the slack. He begun to think like Jotaro like he mentioned within that episode. Cut him some slack, he made a mistake but he learned his lesson, saved him AND Jotaro while beating Kira mentally to stall him.
Jotaro: I know how to defeat the remote-controlled stand. Koichi: Ok. Jotaro: First, we need to find the stand user. Koichi: Found him. Jotaro: Next, we need a dog to throw at the stand user. Koichi: What
"That's not logical at all!" yes, because a tiny water stand powerful enough to shove a man's head inside a canteen whilst the user is at a huge distance away isn't logical.
Koichi never saw that so he couldn't consider really weird shit that can happen with a stand to the point of having another one. He learned his lesson, saved them both and never doubted Jotaro again. Give the kid some slack.
I don't see why 1) Koichi didn't withdraw his Stand immediately after realizing Kira was outside of Echoes' range, and 2) Why Jotaro wasn't able to smack SHA out of the way while it was in the air. It's fast enough to catch a bullet point blank, it's fast enough to punch a tiny tank away.
1. It takes a while to fully retract your stand from 50 meters away (It looks fast in most situations you see it because the stand typically about 2 meters or less away. 2. What Shulk said. Star Platinum has a range of like 2 meters. Koichi was more than 2 meters away.
Here's my counter to that. Remember the Yukako episode where he went to the pay phone? Act 1 was back to him in the span of 1-2 seconds. Act 2 is said to be considerably faster than Act 1, so recall speed isn't the issue. For some reason it just wasn't recalled quickly, which bothers me.
jotaro: *somehow learns how the stand targets each person and finds a way to get it to quickly distract it* also jotaro: stands next to the fire and waits for it to approach him
@@DangerIncFilms Thats never said or implied, and in stone ocean he's able to deflect a bunch of bullets with a barrage right after coming out of time stop, so I don't really think that's true.
Seriously Koichi in this scene really pissed me off😒 Since Jotaro have seen and fought different types of stands which Koichi thinks that's not logical where he barely has his stand for that long and fought 3 people at the time thinks everybody has the same type of stands with the range from 10 to 50 meters. And Koichi thinks he have grown..
He did grow, he just had a bit of doubt because he hasn't seen all the crazy shit Jotaro has. He was overconfident and that's fine, he learned his lesson and HE was stuck picking up the pieces from his mistakes. He immediately started thinking like Jotaro to the point of bringing him up. He learned his lesson, cut him some slack.
Just remember, that Koichi wasn't even supposed to have a stand. The arrow was supposed to kill him, and the only reason he survived was because of Diamond is Unbreakable. He did not have the mentality for a stand and it shows way too often for me to like him.
And in the manga it established that the rain during the BtD arc was loud af, and they couldn't hear jackshit. The anime made it obnoxious, since they didn't say anything about the rain being loud
The stand was going after Jotaro not the Fire and for the second issue, it's because Rohan hates josuke so much that he made Jotaro hears josuke's screams as the sound of rain
Guys, let's face it, we all know Jotaro didn't die, after watching a few later episodes, the shit he's already been through, and the fact that he reappears to see his Daughter, Jolyne
Araki liked Jotaro too much to let him die over something like this. Even when Jotaro dies, it's because he had to stop and save Jolyne. If it wasn't for that factor, he would have destroyed Pucci.
araki didn't want to see a old jotaro having such a weak stand so he killed him in part 6 to show that his forever the strongest jojo and the most badass
Jotaro, inside a small clothing store: "Even if I stop time you're too far away!" Also Jotaro, in the final fight against Kira: *Has a whole ass monologue and is still able to roast the F out of Kira even though he's like 3 car-lengths away*
*if avdol survived part 3 and went to morioh* Jotaro:if body temperature is enough to make it explode th- Avdol: DONT WORRY JOTARO, ILL BURN IT TO CINDERS!
Koichi Haters: “He made a mistake! He underestimated you! He’s such an Annoying Little Fool!” Jotaro: “And?” Koichi Haters: “...Oh, and then he learns from his mistake and proceeds to show Reliable he is.” Jotaro: “You’ve *Matured.”*
Once Sheer Heart Attack started going after Koichi, he should have made a diving jump towards Jotaro. Then it would have made its way into Ora Ora range.
Jotaro could barely block SHA when it went for him, if you think Star Platinum could move past Koichi and hit SHA before it explodes then your just kinda wrong
