The trim will be more than 1/2". 1/2 inch is simply maintaining. I have not trimmed in months so I need and want to trim a bit more. Hair dragging the floor is not for me. I also want more volume at hem with a more blunt cut so several inches needed now. I have much less hair than you Stylist38. Your videos are amazing! ****EVERYONE SHOULD CHECK OUT HIS CHANNEL****
may be a little bit out of topic, but I was observing the measurement ribbon you use, and it appeared to me kind of unusual since we only use metric system in Europe (out of UK I suppose). That kind of measurement insturment is named "metre" (meter) or "metre ruban" (ribbon meter). I suppose it is not called "meter" in your language, so I would be curious to know how you call it ? BTw, agree must be very uneasy to have hair dragging on the floor.
Wow that's Awesome. Met my Girl 3 years ago her hair was just past her shoulders. Told her I liked long hair and she agreed to let it grow. She got caught by scissor happy hair dressers now she let's me trim her hair, now it's to the top of her bum.
How does she just slide the comb through her hair at the back?? I tried to do that expecting it to untangle knots but it ripped out hair (with wide tooth combs)
My Husband is combing here. Trust me, my hair was first combed out very well before he did this.I begin at the bottom and slowly comb out any tangles. Wide tooth combs are great! You can detect knots and STOP. I cant do it with a brush. I never RIP out hair with the WTC. You STOP and find the knot and carefully pull it apart with your fingers and then the comb. ok JJ i have few questions do u color your hair at all ? (roots) and I keep mine back also but washing it alot of work how often do u wash yours for me every 3 to4 days any special tips on that ? shampoo? do you oil your hair? any information would be great im ready to cut mine and my husband doesn't want me to.

No I have not dyed my hair in many years. I wash once a week at most. Yes I oil my hair and use sulfate free shampoo, no sls or sles. I hope you kept your hair long.
Testing by just growing for years and years to see if I could grow to ankles. Of course there has to be some very good hair care involved too. Nothing scientific, just time and good hair care.I think more could do it if they tried. Maybe not as long as me, but try growing longer. ;)
Andi Smith I just let it grow and grow, I did trim it now and then and learned to self trim. When I wear it up everyday I never thought about it much as it continued to grow.I also tried to take good care of it.I reached beyond floor length, which was more than I planned. I guess I have good hair growing genes. Im ready for a big trim though!
Just let it grow for many years! I started growing longer after having it at around tailbone length 10 years, where most people stop! I guess you really need to love long hair to grow it. Its a little too long here for me lol.
There is if you are the one with the hair. Stepping on it and pulling it out is very upsetting. It needs to be shorter so that never happens, and it will be. I never wear my hair down (or can) at this length.I never planned to grow it past floor either. Trim coming this summer.
I simply meant seeing how long my hair would grow, testing it and letting it grow.When a family member got very Ill and I became their caretaker more and more, I ignored my hair and stopped trimming. Now its past the floor several inches. One never knows what length they can achieve unless they try or in my case later on, just ignore it.
Oh, ok I see. Yes, you are most definitely right about no one knows what length their hair can grow to unless you try it. I'm so sorry about family member becoming ill and passing away. Right now my hair length is almost Bra Strap Length. Do you remember some time ago I told you that I was joining the long hair journey? And, back then my hair was chin length? Well, I'm sooooo very glad that I've passed that stage in my life!!!! Right now in my life I'm gonna just let my hair grow as long as it can. If it can grow to my thighs then fine. Or, if can grow to knee length and beyond that would be GREAT!!!! But thigh length would be nice for me I think.
