If the Chief Constble institutes policy then the police officers under them have to carry them out. So calling the police officers who have to do these investigations and interviews stupid when they have no choice is unfair. I think it's an excellent idea that JK Rowling herself press charges and take Willoughby to court for defamation. Willoughby thinks that Rowling should be taken to court for a hate crime for misgendering. Tit for tat. What an absolute waste of police resources that Willoughby went to them for Rowling misgendering, thinking she should be charged w/ a hate crime. Is there no charge that can be brought against Willoughby for the waste of police time, energy and resources? That's exactly what he/she did. ~ This isn't a trans issue, but the thing that bothers me the most is how non-binary people want to be addressed as they/them. I understand that a non-binary person doesn't "identify" as either a male or a female. But, simply because they acknowledge and embrace both the male and female qualities about themselves, it doesn't make sense to me that they should be spoken to in the plural. The person is not a they/them, two different people, they are one person. ~ Around the time Prime Minister Trudeau in Canada was first elected, he said that we shouldn't be using the word mankind but rather peoplekind. How absolutely bloody ridiculous (as he tends to be). But since that time (around 2016) things have gotten even more insane. I don't have any issues with homosexuality or Gender re-assignment. However, Gender re-assignment can never be a natural process, but it is not just our reporductive organs that determine gender at birth, men and women, think differently because they need to in terms of survival of the species. If a woman transgenders into a male and a male transgenders into a female, the transgendered female will always be physically stronger than the transgendered male. It is this physical difference that creates issues within sports not just prisons. While I do have some sympathy for transgendered individuals when it comes to 'which prison' they should go to. If they go to a male prison, there will be serious issues for them, but if they go into a female prison they will create serious issues. Then of course there is the problem of how far they have transgendered, living as a woman does not make you a woman, any more than living as a man makes you a man, particularly if you have your original genitals, that function in the way nature intended them to function. So please, when will common sense return to society. Yes, we should respect that some people genuinely do feel they were born in the wrong body, but there is also some evidence to suggest that some, swing from one gender to another depending on what mood they are in. A WOKE society is not a healthy society, but a respectful society is a healthy society
