Totally clueless comment. And so foolish. Shobu ippon is not "tag karate", it's one & done. Yes, control is used so that people wont get badly hurt. When you can execute the technique super fast with full control, you can easily do it without control to neutralize the opponent if your life depends on it. Also as in JKA they don't use any kind of protection, that allows use of full karate with throws etc.
