Very balanced grading......all three of them displayed good form......nice kihon and kata.......especially kumite was well controlled with variation of techniques with good execution & spirit. OSS!
Very good standard from all 3. I particularly liked the first Sochin and the Tekki Shodan by the same gentleman. Tekki is a particular favourite of mine. Excellent kumite also.
Great video , good katas and even better kumite . I like that this JKA branch does kumite like JKA Japan and not the sport way of WKF . Its not that this is better but I love this version of Karate better. Thank you for posting. You have a killer with that tall dark haired gentleman.
The WKF style of fighting is garbage. And the bad part of it is that was the style accepted into the Tokyo Olympics in 2020. The olympics always water down the martial arts to a point of uselessness.
What is the difference between JKA and WKF kumite? I know that in sport karate they try to get points and when you get a point kumite is stopped immediately. But I see these guys are stopped too, but do they still continue more than in WKF (sportskarate)?

Check that your knees are in line with your foot. In beginners it may hurt but just continueing doing it it wont hurt, just a normal process for muscles and nerves to go through and adapt these new moves/stances, kicks etc. Eventually it all extremely good for you, just do it right, slow first.. check the knees are in line with foot, very important.
Their fudodache was wrong, it was a weird front stance instead of being torqued forward. There should be rotation in the ankles and hips to create tension going outward at 45 degree angles. They completely missed the point and use of the stance by doing this.
Master Katana Yes I have seen many JKA dan gradings on youtube and they are quite disappointing even those gradings managed by the likes of Naka Sensei. Poor kihon almost everywhere(check out JKA Auckland eugh). This video is one exception.
