The first time I heard Toto's story I was really impressed by her determination. Even though I am Azimio by flesh and blood I donated something small for her Boda Boda campaign. Congratulations Toto and all of you guys. Now work for the people who elected you.

Stop marking their English they have done well ,am sure they are stummering because it's their first time on live cameras but with time they will polish their communicating skills rem most of them are university materials and they were not admitted to university because the talk good English but because they passed exams so fluent English is not amust as long as u deliver

Their story reminds me of who are true hustlers and how they are benefiting from the narrative of Hustlers. That someone can come from nowhere and be something. It also resonates with Bible story of Those who preach Christ for truly who He is or those who want to use Christ name for their benefits. Philippians 1:15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. Philippians 1:16 The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. Philippians 1:17 The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. Philippians 1:18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice. People used to say that “ vijana ni viongozi wa kesho but the old politicians would not mentor the young ones to continue with their legacy but this is a good example that the time for the young to take leadership is now not tomorrow. Congratulations.! Those who are complaining about their English should give them a chance . They will improve as the days go by.
Much as I admire these young guys for accomplishing this feat, I still think we need to have some basic level of requirements for these serious jobs these guys are taking up. Legislation and oversight surely needs some level of competency if to be done right. We generally have too many hecklers in leadership who don't deliver. Wish these guys the best, let's see how they do.

You can understand their challenge if you consider their nervousness, the studio lights, and the fact that they are mostly from the village and do not speak English very often. They will eventually get a handle on it.
