B) if so, thats because they are independant, when u are signed to a mainstream label, you automatically get paid just for making music, but that doesnt happen independantly. I dont mean to sound bias towards underground being tougher but in the underground you make money off of record sales, touring, things like that. you dont get paid for every little thing that you do like in the mainstream.
