@@emyf9197 On-stage makeup is very different from glam-up makeups. My mom is a sorority legacy and everytime she is on-stage, her makeup rituals are very different from her regular ones.

I'm pretty sure she introduces him as jlo's makeup artists for people like me who don't know celebrity makeup artists so we can be like 'OH! I know her and I know his work', instead of someone naming a make-up artist and then just leaving me sitting here like 'okay, so why are we freaking out over this person, I have no idea who he is'. Like I don't think Tati means to diminish his importance or anything because Scott does amazing work but I think it's just to make a connection that draws in people who maybe are more casual makeup lovers or who don't know major makeup artists
It ORIGINALLY was titled with “Scott Barnes” but the video wasn’t gaining views. So she changed it. Which is not a bad thing because she is marketing her video. RU-vidrs change titles all the time it ain’t that deep.
That's so true. All makeup artists can do perfect makeup on good tight skin. But it takes different skills to do it on skin with acne or wrinkles! Would LOVE to see that kind of videos one day! 'Cause that's REALITY. (Even people with flawless skin *will* get wrinkles at *some* point)
Jojo Bee absolutely! I have extremely dry skin and acne and scarring. I’ve gotten pretty good at working with my skin, but it would be nice to see someone like Scott Barnes deal with someone that has skin like mine!
I love the whole glowy and hoe-y thing but like I want to see them do that on someone super pale. I want to be glowy but it’s hard when you’re Casper the friendly ghost.
I really loved seeing how Scott would work with a different face shape, if possible you should keep doing this with different friends! I feel like it really helps you understand the 'why' when you see the same techniques used differently to complement different peoples shapes and coloring
Diana de Pana agree!! Did you notice there was some eyeliner or something we missed in there also. I have hooded eyes and I was hanging on this video! But it looks like she possibly has ina white liner in the water line but can’t tell?
Lurah25 It helps with redness. A lot of makeup artists use them, it really whitens your eyes. Especially after doing makeup, particularly eye makeup, it can irritate your eyes and make them red. My favorite ones are Rohto Eye Drops. Man, do they really awaken your eyes! Lol, I love seeing people use them for the first time because it’s kind of unexpected - they feel almost cold or like menthol for just a second, but they make your eyes so pretty white. Like whiter than ever!
I am OBSESSED with how Scott does makeup. I’ve started doing it myself and it makes a world of difference (plus you’re not going through foundation as much $$). So gorgeous as always!

We need a Scott Barnes tutorial on covering acne scars and texture! I have some serious issues with that and my skincare helps but it seems like certain foundations accentuate it bad! I have some scars around my mouth and it makes me so self conscious!
Omg yesss I second this! I still have some acne but I mainly have scars now and texture and it's so hard to cover it! Before I put on my makeup my face doesn't look too bad but then after I do my foundation, it becomes so noticable!
