Does Jamaica have a law that if government wants the land that someone own that they must compensate. Don t believe government that the people don’t own the land. Government purposely capture land that is not listed at the land tax office, then claim that people on capture land. Jamaica has rules of governance just like every other country but because most Jamaican don’t know the law they assume that everything the officials do is lawful.
Based on human rights Holness is correct, but the people are required by human rights law to be able to provide for their themselves and family. Based on that, No one should need to work over 40 hours because wages should compensate for all living expense and not substandard living conditions. This applies not just in Jamaica but entire world.

Not everyone who is on those lands just arrive there, but the news don’t interview them it’s only the people that live there five years or less. Elderly people on the land for over 65 years. Land Title came into existence maybe 60 years now. People buy land from the person and receive a receipt with the land description and no one go register it.
