We strapped our 2021 Durango Hellcat onto the dyno to see just how much horsepower our newest Intake Kit delivered, and we were surprised with the results! Part # CAI-DDHC-21 www.jlttruecol...
Wow I was off on my guesses…. good to know where our Durango Hellcat sits stock now (obviously they all will vary and it will have to get strapped down someday to know for sure). Thanks for the info!!!
@@skr1182 its about 15% drivetrain loss for rwd I'd assume atleast 20% loss for AWD I know in CO my HC made 550 to the rear , so my hellrango would be lucky to make 500hp
I just installed my intake for my Durango hellcat and it makes the car whine so much louder it’s crazy. It does require cutting some parts of the car but I didn’t do it I just installed it a little differently than the directions say. The only bad thing I noticed is that the throttle response is a little jumpy. But other than that i really love the sound of the sc whine.
There is no cutting of parts, the PVC connection must be removed from the stock box by removing plastic rivets. Easily returned to stock with screws. Improved throttle response is a positive for sure.
@@JLTPERFORMANCE I didn’t like the fitment of the of the air filter shield and i had to adjust to make sure it went in like I wanted to. The rivets have to be cut, and in the future, they cannot be returned to factory using screws. You have to cut/ trim the rivets off.
The vehicle in the video is ours and it has been returned to stock several times in testing. Drill a small hole in the studs for the PCV unit and screw it down. Works great and looks stock. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us directly for help.
