Short Clips of my time at the factory finalizing my VL3 Airplane. All Garmin IFR Panel, Rotax 916is Engine, and as many options as I could fit in. Be sure to subscribe for detailed videos coming shortly.
Awesome - I really appreciate you sharing these videos. I have one on order (916) - coming to Texas in the fall - and look forward to sharing my experience as well. - Errol and Lukas have been great to work with.
@@funpilot2 Agreed! As a first step, perhaps Errol/Lukas could assist with compiling a contact list of other current/future owners interested in participating?
David - where in Texas? I'm in Houston and put my deposit down in June. I'll be going over in May of next year for the build program with delivery in about a year from now.
@@jimharris212 I am up in DFW -- if I can snag a hanger the aircraft will be based at KADS. I am likely heading over in late October or early November -- depending on football schedules.
Hi Pilot Steve, here is Pilot Stieven (Steven). I am a P210N-TN550 driver and also in the market for the VL3-916iS or even better the TP version. You said you decided for the 916iS, have you received so far performance data, that one could compare to the 915iS data (fuel flow and TAS for certain power settings (RPM&MAP) and in specific altitudes???
I test flew the 916 in Prague a few weeks ago and takeoff is "jet like". Climb is over 2500fpm. I don't know about cruise and fuel burn yet, but once I get my plane I'll do several test flights and publish my findings.
@@notravelagendasteve3158 thanks Steve! When you flew with VL3’s so far, were they equipped with GFC500 and if so, was it stable in flight like your previous airplane (that were much heavier)?
Rotax recently released some specific 915iS versus 916iS performance numbers, including fuel burn data, in an EAA webinar. I tried to post a link here, but RU-vid appears to be deleting or hiding the comment, presumably to keep us within its platform. I'll try again in a separate comment while leaving this one link-free.
