JME's idea of hiding likes/ retweets/ favorites on social media is actually a genius way to make social media "healthier" . more about fun and less about validation
indeed. i actually see it on my youtube channel - very specialist niche content, insignificant amount of views but still - there's a handful of ppl which do enjoy what i do and that's the most important part for me. but i also see ppl going, 'oh, this video only has like 20 views so it can't be good' although they might get new things, information, knowledge from the video anyway they now do miss out on, because they were lead (or mislead) by the viewcount.
People need realize that social media is not reality. If your self-esteem is tied to how many social media following you have then it is time you have a talk with a professional.
Chuckle,I agree 100 about what you said being that generation that wasn’t influenced by social media.I have looked at things on the Instagram and it has made me feel a type of way about my life,Im not depressed by it but I can relate to your point.Self analyzing is normal,You just have to check yourself and not get caught up into it.
I think another thing as to why people don't want to socialise as much with close friends or why it feels forced is that it's all predictable now. Like with most people I know they're always videoing what they do and because I've watched it so many times I know what to expect. Like you just know what's gonna happen when u see everyone. So you're not as bothered to socialise because the highlight for everyone is to video what's going on then it just gets repetitive basically.
I'm watching this because I just watched Skepta's interview on Beats. I was so happy to see him doing his thing, it made me wonder where JME is, because I wanted to follow them both on Instagram...only to find, JME is not on Instagram! JME, is just real. #Grounded 💫💖💫
You know what the problem is? It’s that we in England does celebrate thanksgiving. Where we actually voice and take time to appreciate everything we have and now cause we don’t do that, more time we just brush it off or forget about it and move on.
I agree with you all but I also believe having access to peoples live via social media can offer multiple benefits especially when you find someone else possibly affected by the same/similar issues you may currently be facing. Also it can be motivational seeing people winning & doing well in their lives.. the affects aren’t always negative ✌🏾
I wish the guy in the white shirt would shut up. Did anyone else notice how much he talked about himself, and JME was speaking about the subject more generally (even though I bet my bottom dollar that JME has had many more exciting moments occur in his life)
Seriously. I just paused the video in the middle and then he just starts again. Oh I don't look for validation, I just go on the web for validation. What's his game man?
Deanz Beber Yeah always guys projecting. They're all equally putting their personal spin on things. Also check yourself JME self admittedly sits inside playing video games all day, Poet is everywhere, been part of the scene for the longest, probably has so many more stories than JME.
@@girlblissy Plus every world's problem is very addicting that everyone is constantly has to check everything online which is hooked like cocaine. Still trying my best to avoid of looking online of those type of problems.
Views, likes and stats matter for business... Numbers especially conversion and engagement stats involving views, likes etc.. Is also a effective way of marketing
