Sir why in TEM there is no longitudinal field components along direction of propagation while in TE and TM they have longitudinal components along direction of propagation??

Why Hx&Ex are zero in TEM wave ?

Hz and Ez is zero, not Hx and Ex. Here, direction of propagation of EM wave is considered in Z-direction, so the field components are not present in the Z- direction so, Ez and Hz will be zero. Other field components in the X,Y directions are present. @1.25... look at the diagram shown.

Hx and Ex will be zero, if Wave propagates in X - direction, and field components will be present on Y and Z directions.
