idk why people hate this guy...like he is 23 and has a lot of potential, he just need a right guidance. I think he suits Barca playing style more than Athelic. he is skillful, fast and dribbles good, yes he plays bit solo but I don't mind if you are good at dribbling tbh. he can shine in braca. forca barca!!
Hate is too strong a word. Felix had all the opportunities at Atleti. The coach played Felix over and over again but Felix just got more and more lazy on the field. I wish Felix much success at Barca, except when they play Atleti. 😅
@@helenefalk500 That's definately not what happened. Simeone played him and during 4+ years he played the 90 minutes a handful of times. He didn't do bad for Atleti. But the blowing up people expected was based on what he did at Benfica.....in a team that was very ofensive. You can't do that with your back to goal for many many matches.
@@jeanlundi2141Exactly, Helene fuck had no clue, it had nothing to do with Felix but for Atl’s/Simeone anti-football tactics, but he also has an err on his part not to have done his feasibility studies on the team he was set out to join and what his role there was going to be.
@@NahlaMonroe-eu4mb He was probably told that "Simeone develops attackers really well". He was told he'd be a starter for sure. And to be honest, there weren't other clubs willing to pay the 120m...which forced Benfica to release him. You're 19......I can't say I wouldn't do the same. What if he waited another year an no one came for him? Happens often. It's easy to judge but no player is actively trying to do what's bad for him.
This move should've happened back in 2019, he was always a Barca type player, happy we finally got him, he can be one of the best in the world at Barca.
The issue with him is, he holds the ball pretty long, he plays best with the ball to his feet, especially the further away from goal he is, closer he will tend to play one touch passes, which is good. He also has a direct approach like Ansu does, but he keeps his head up more than Ansu and he converts more of his solo chances. He is also not a wide player, he is more a 2nd striker, but has pace & 1v1 ability that can make him play wide however, Balde will have to provide width, just like Cancelo will have to provide width for Raphinha. Good thing, he is good in breaking lines of defense, a terror part for Barça that he can help with, same does Cancelo.
Similar profile as neymar yet people hate him for no reason. Only difference is rhat Neymar made a good career move early in his career( barca) and messed it up later. This guy messed up earlier(atico) and made a good move later.
dude never got much chances to score in team like chelsea last seaon and the haram ball tactics of simeone. He may thrive in barca with the amount of chances the team creates.
There is no such thing as make or break. The kid is 23. He could ghost for the next 5 years and still play good football somewhere else. That mentality doesn't serve anyone.
@@jeanlundi2141 he has been playing inconsistent football for the past 5 years, he finally has the chance to play in a team that plays attacking football, if it doesn't work out here idk what top clubs next year will be wanting him
@@skiLfuly His football isn't "iconsistent". The guy coiuldn't even finish a 90m match with Simeone ffs! He probably finished like 2 90 minute matches since he arrived there. Always getting substituted. And youa are judging him on numbers....attacking wise , on average, he was the best attacking player at Atleti since he arrived too (only Griezmann has been better in the last season and Suarez due to the goals in that one season). I watched all his matches. He isn't inconsistent compared to most players. He just doesn't fit Atletico's system. People are simply judging him on what they THINK he should be. He's not a goalscorer. He's not a workhorse. He will score well in an attacking team with patterns of play like Benfica. For those with eyes he's a great player. Not just a talent. He's a great player. But people demand he be a world beater due to the price tag. Any other 23 year old kid with the same "inconsistency" is still considered a great player.
@@jeanlundi2141 "For those with eyes he's a great player" yea mate calm down, I never said he was bad, im probably the last guy who would say that, Im a Benfica fan and I've been following him since B team and Youth League days, I know very well how he is. And yes, he is inconsistent, but more than that he is unlucky with injuries, every time he would start getting really good games, national team break would come and he would get some shitty injury and breaking form. But on his days he would easily be the best in the team and I could even say best ITL for a period of time. Imo the biggest problem with him is his mentality, he gets frustrated easily, he wasn't like this before, but now its showing more and more, when he makes a run and doesn't get picked for a pass he gets annoyed, it looks bad in the eyes of his teammates, coach, fans etc. Also sometimes he holds onto the ball way more than he should, that was happening a lot at Chelsea, where in his Benfica and early Atleti days he would easily find a line breaking pass, now he takes an extra touch/dribble past someone and ends up missing the window for it. So its like I said, he just needs to fully focus on his football, trust more his teammates and he'll easily go back to winning POTMs
it is the make or break season for him at the top level this is his last chance at a big club obviously if he ghosts he'll have somewhere to play even maguire will after utd but it is felix make or break at the top level for a big club@@jeanlundi2141
You don't know the players at all. Just because they had problems with their managers doesn't mean sh*t. Unless you think managers are always in the right. Ask Etoo or Yay Toure or Joe Hart or even KDB about Pep....
@@jeanlundi2141 how does it not mean shit? If they had problems with their previous manager what makes you think they’ll just come to Barca and be ok with every decision Xavi makes? For Cancelo both Man City, two top clubs didn’t want him because of attitude problems. For Felix we’ve seen the fits he throws when he would get subbed off. I’m not saying the same thing will happen at Barca… read my comment above I said hopefully this doesn’t happen at this club. duh 🙄
What about Aubamayeng he had issues with Arteta but still flourished, Luk De Jong was never a favorite for Xavi but still balled, you don’t know the player so don’t judge till he plays that’s all I can say
Le problème avec Mr Joao Felix c'est qu'il joue un peu personnel. Il n'aime pas passer la balle, il prefère dribler et au final c'est pas bon pour l'equipe 😢
@@rafiksidiali5605 No. Palhinha for example did medical exams today, did a photoshoot with Bayern Munich kit and went back to Fulham. It's official when it's official... But Felix is indeed in Barcelona city negotiating as we speak and ready to sign
