My son was not really a bad kid but, when he was, I totally used the "naughty chair". It honestly works and it broke his heart when I refused to talk to him for 3 min. He's 14 now.

@@iHollywoodTVOfficial If you can call 'breaking his heart' best parenting technique, then sure. Good work. Depends on the age of the child but this partcular technique looks like emotional neglect to me, regardless of the kids' age.

My parents when something happens they wouldn't speak to me for as long as they would stay mad it could go on for days I wish they would have sent me in a chair and not speak for me for 3 minutes and have a heartbreak for 3 minutes and not three days

Jo taught me how to be a mom before I even thought I wanted kids! I am SOOO grateful for that show because my kids are so amazing and we have mutual respect with each other and open dialogue constantly in our home...I didn't realize I was doing all her methods when they were toddlers until re-watching these episodes and I can vouch 100% it WORKS!!! Happy Kids = Happy mom

Dearest Jo, I was blessed to have a granddaughter born on my 45 birthday and then 4mos later given to me by the court system to raise. I used everything you teach to raise her from the 1st night. And I'd like to say she never had to be placed in the NOTTY SPOT. She's now 26yrs old and a person who has a wonderful life.

I love Supernanny! I’ve been watching it since I was around 12-13 And to be honest, back then I had a lot of behavioral issues and most of the issues were actually caused by my autistic spectrum disorder and ADHD. I actually watched the episodes because I was interested in the kid’s behavior and not gonna lie, learning the stuff that Jo taught parents sort of helped me to be a better kid and now as a 17 year old in high school, I barely have any issues with behavior! Jo is such a wonderful person and I’m so glad she still does this show because it still helps me improve myself! Thank you Jo!! We love you! 😄💜

Old school tips, my father talks about his mom putting him in time out except it was much longer and spanks were given but it was one or two and it was mostly something really bad like back talk or not listening at all.

Thank you for this! I love Jo Frost and do my best to implement her teachings with my child, I've been watching her forever it seems. With Jo's teachings I've been working on time outs with my daughter, she doesn't need many of them, she's a good kid, but she is a threenager, lol and still gets in trouble from time to time.

I love Jo too & watch as many as I can. I'm a grandma, even raised a grandchild. This show was not around when I was trying to stop 2 of mine from fighting all the time etc, but I use techniques from Jo while dealing with them as adults! @@iHollywoodTVOfficial Thank you! I was wondering how do you deal with a 9 year old boy who just wont stop taking things into his own hands. If his friends annoys him or anyone else does or hits him...he continues to kick them or hits them back? He has been warned from school he could be suspended due to this. We dont have many luxuries at home or tv and they dont hv mobile phones etc as i believe one to one activities are the best. My 11 year old was the same as him but worse....its tiring. I have a 2 year old n 6 to raise too. My husband is always busy but his discipline is shouting. I feel my sons are picking up their fathers lack of empathy n taking it out on kids in school.

I grew up with supernanny on my TV however my parents were still a open hand pants up spanking type household when that no longer worked because pain becomes easy to ignore the relied on their loud voices. At times they would attempt to time out but they admitted they forgot we were in the other room on more than one occasion so we sat there for possibly an hour waiting to be released. Before having a little for myself I would have been super nanny so that I would have some form of blueprint on how to raise a child without neglecting or harming them. As far as I'm concerned supernanny was our first glimpse into gentle parenting

I heard she has been around before the show as a nanny but im not sure. Could be cool if she visited us but could not be possible since i live in other side of the whole earth:)

I love 💕 super nanny. I watched her show when it was on air. I think 🤔 it airs on lifetime but i don’t get that channel.

I miss supernanny so much. I hate that youtube only has a couple full episodes in total. Cant find it for download either 😩 I need to hunt the thrift stores for dvds or something
