Under my mom's kitchen sink you will literally find empty cool whip containers, and the containers you get from Chinese takeout. She saves all of them.
Love Jo Koy but sayin...we are all not so far apart...my own parents and grandparents, poor Appalachian folk always say the same stuff...be a nurse...cure everything with Vicks and more. Always relatable when any poor or oppressed peoples are together.. and my native American cousins are the same... I live when comedy shows how we are all alike.
I went to school with lunch in cool whip and pink cottage cheese 2% fat container was lucky if i got a brown bag with my name on it in Saran Wrap or tin foil wrap no zip lock bags back then 50's 😅 kid with Great Depression WW2 parents peanut butter and jelly or bologna and cheese sandwich and maybe an apple
Me too...they say if your folks grew up during the depression...well, then, so did you! FRIDAYS were the worst...everybody got fish sticks but I had peanut butter again.
monggo and a sack of patis oh God T_T I remember bringing Utan (Filipino vegetable stew) to school and I was so shocked that other kids don't eat it like what the fuck are we even the same nationality T_T
Love the Griffin Brothers. I ad a rough day today and seeing your beautiful faces and loving family lifted my spirits. thanks Jamel. Keeping being a light, sir.
I can attest to this!. When I was a kid, after having a rough day at school. To cheer me up, she told me we have a Jollibee in the fridge. I was so excited, when I opened the fridge there was infact Jollibee inside. A freakin Jollibee Drinking Tumbler 😂
Filipino mom do that what jo koy experience to their mom...that way me as as myself next time i double check every hour my lunchbox everytime when i was a kid
finally, I found them watching "Monggo" - another of the funniest skits I have ever seen by any comedian in 45 - 50 years ! this guy is so funny I'm hooked on Jo Koy
Mongo is good. Went to my mom's house the other day and she had a fresh pot....Mmmmm. Didn't appreciate as much when I was a kid but now-a-days I'd take it over McDonalds any day.
