Blackberry and bay, wood sage and sea salt, ginger buiscuit, orange bitters, mrryh and tonka, golden vanilla and vertiver, honey suckle and davana, nectarine and honey blossom, and mimosa and cardamom and scarlet poppy.
I quite enjoy it. Smells very clean to me. I have a mini bottle. I've always enjoyed the note of freesia. This one and nectarine blossom & honey are just very good.
This was my very first Jo Malone scent and big girl perfume. I never knew JM had a reputation for not lasting or projecting because I find this one does both well! Now that I have tried most of JM, it is annoying how some are gone so quickly. My favorite is probably Blsckberry and Bay, Scarlett Poppy, and my husband LOVES WWSS.
I keep Jo Malone English Pear & Freesia hand soap beside the downstairs bathroom sink along with the matching travel size body cream, and every guest who uses that bathroom continues smelling their hands for the next 15 minutes, remarking on how incredible their hands smell! It really lingers. I have the same setup in another bathroom with Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir, and I love that even more. Pom.Noir is my favorite Winter body cream( very perfumed!)
This is actually my most complimented fragrance. Maybe because i wear this the most amongst my perfumes. I have been stopped a few times to ask what i was wearing. I was chased down the hallway by a coworker one time. 👍
Yes the pear freesia one makes me feel like a dainty very feminine English lady. I had a small sample a couple years ago and I liked it in the summer. It’s not a live for me but occasionally I do feel like it. I have had blackberry bay for a long while and I really like it layered. I just got a decant of wood sage and sea salt and together they are very nice. I also really like the lime basil mandarin body crème. And myrrh and tonka is great on my husband. Honestly other than the ones mentioned I’ve stopped trying with this brand because they seem to be really good at very feminine fragrances and that’s just not my vibe. They do have some intriguing scents but it’s so expensive just to try them. And 50% of the time I hate it. I do have a golden vanilla and vetiver which is really unusual. I am starting to warm up to it but it’s a very masculine vanilla which no one ever talks about. I think on the right person it could be really good.
I never knew all the notes for Pear&Freesia! My favorite jo malones are English Pear&Freesia, Oak and Hazelnut, Blackberry and Bay, Wood Sage&Seasalt, Peony Blush Suede.
My fave Jo Malone scent is Lime Basil & Mandarin. Smells great in the summer. Next on my 'to purchase' list is 'English Pear & Freesia' and 'Scarlet Poppy'.
I bought a big bottle of the Jo Malone English pear&fresia because a lot of people love this scent. I decided to blind-buy it, and when I got it I was so excited then it was so very disappointing to me,I hate it I don't smell any pear just smell musky freesia that Is it, also it doesn't last long and it is overpriced, I have too high expectations. The only one Jo Malone I love is Scarlet poppy 🌺🌺
thats weird because it smells so fresh crisp and beautiful. Tried the floral pear version of dossier which they say is very similar/dupe and it smells exactly how you describe - straight up just musk.
