This was such a good episode. Joan and Ruby clearly have chemistry and it brings out a side to Joan you rarely see. Playful, fierce, honest, cheeky, mischievous and true. Ruby is great in delving deep and touching on subjects most would be afraid to. Love it!
Ruby, thanks for posting. I watched that show back then. Can you upload the clip where Joan tells how her mother had told her on her wedding night "Just close your eyes and think of England"
This is an AMAZING interview with Ruby and Joan! Why? It is the first time that Joan Collins talks to a friend, which Ruby clearly is, as if they are having a chat on a hot summers evening as good friends, and Joan is totally relaxed and has not her "Joan Collins" attitude she always shows when interviewed by other interviewers, she is always on the alert with them, here is the opposite, I guess the "private" Joan comes very clearly through, as she is at home in private! Great!
I have always loved Joan Collins. One of my favorite movies is one she did with Paul Newman and she tries to seduce him and she gets him drunk and he ends up swinging on her chandelier and she can't stop laughing and he keeps saying, "Don't laugh like that" because it was making him laugh harder. Rally Round the Flag Boys was the film.
I wholeheartedly agree with Joan. As long as he is over 25 there is no barrier to love. A soul-mate is whomever. Society needs to keep their 'snout' out of other people's bedrooms. It is very natural for an older woman to be with a younger man -- it is a beautiful work of art, a perfect match indeed. Like anything else, if people are in it for true love they will find it -- that's the way it is!
KIM LLOYD-GEORGE, NOT SO LOVELY IN PERSON. QUITE RUDE TO BE HONEST. MET HER AND LINDA EVANS IN BOSTON WHEN THEY DID LEGENDS. LINDA WAS A CLASS ACT. SHE GAVE EVERYONE AN AUTOGRAPH AND TOOK PHOTOS WITH EVERYBODY AS WELL. JOAN WENT RIGHT TO HER LIMO WITH HER HUSBAND PEARCY. DON'T BOTHER ME.
Goddess JOAN, I love YOU so much, but "the worst script you've ever read" was "Will & Grace"? Ever heard about the all-time-classic "Empire of the Ants"?
