what this clip proves is Joan Collins knows how to talk to people and she knows how to hustle. You cant rely on your good looks to coast through life, you need something else to back it up. Younger actresses can take a lesson from Miss Collins!
well to be fair, she was asking for more money that's why she was not in the first episode of Dynasty Season 6, it's all in her book Second Act, but my god the interviewer is a rat and so rude! She dealt with him very well! What a Star!
I agree he was an ass to her but Because she is a lady she did well by controlling the conversation, because the interviewer is supposed to do that but as you can see between 3:48 to 3:55 she just smiles and dominates the convo, classic....

God I had completely forgotten about this jerk! He once did the exact same thing to Madonna, made her feel uncomfortable,with his rude, arrogant behaviour! Like Joan, she did not leave, but you could see she smiled thru gritted teeth and hated his guts and strange questions! He probabley has a problem with women or his ego, thinks he has all the power! I would have thrown a glass of water in his face! Bravo Joan!
Bryant Gumbel always seemed like a huge jerk. The way he so rudely asked Joan about her contract dispute basically sums him up. No wonder CBS fired him. As always Joan was effervescent...at 4:05 you can tell that Joan gives as good as she gets.
he use to think he was "it" , He was always trying to throw his guest off . No idea where he is or what become of him but Joan went on to become a Dame and is still as beautiful as ever .
Having a few procedures and "tons of plastic surgery" are worlds apart. Most of the people who swear Joan Collins has had a lot of work done can't tell you exactly which procedures they suspect she's undergone, which is usually the first sign that they don't know what the hell they're talking about.

I think she is very beautiful. She has likely had work done, but she also lives a very healthy lifestyle. Plastic surgery cannot compensate for an unhealthy lifestyle.
